I think if you believe, as I did and as seemed to be the case, that Girardi would pull Burnette the second he got in trouble and not wait until they were losing 5-0 then they would definitely have a chance. They had Soriano, Robertson and Mo for at least 2 inning each as it could have been their last game this year. They only had to keep it close for the first 3.
Nah...Yankees will be spending too much on Pujols and Fielder this year to worry about adding pitching too..next years plan is to just bludgeon the competition to death and besides we haven't spent any money recently..the tax bill is getting too high.
