I don't think so. It strikes me that Namath says what he does to stay relevant. But Favre's comments seem much more pointed and malicious, trying to hard to preserve his legacy. Plus, Namath doesn't have to worry about being surpassed by Sanchez until Sanchez has a ring. Rogers and Favre are now tied for championships brought to GB, one more for Rogers, and Favre's legacy is REALLY diminished.
