You played 15 years with the Packers, Favre. You won 1 Super Bowl. Rodgers managed to do that in 3, so shut up.

the way the Packers are playing, that looks like it could be as early as next year. Once Rogers wins a second, Favre will be a footnote. if he wins back to back, Favre will become absolutely irrelevant.

 

Hasn't that day already come and gone? Fans boo'd the shit out of him in his return, and the team has already won a title and found a better QB since he defected to the RIVAL Vikings.

Favre was a joke towards the end of his career and a terrible teammate. What kind of message does it send to the locker room that you purposely hold the team hostage every year just so you can skip all of training camp?

This clown blames his injuries for sinking the Jets playoff hopes, doesnt take himself out of the game to preserve his record.

How is this guy suprised "it took so long" for Rodgers to win a championship, his first year the defense was atrocious, second year the defense gives up 44 points against the Cardinals.

If this dude just stay retired after 07, his legacy wouldn't have been seen as laughable

 

I actually want Favre to unretire once more just cause it'd be hilarious. I was giddy with excitement when I heard Favre to Fins rumours.... sadly they were only rumours.

 

Favre said he wasn't surprised Rodgers won a Super Bowl, saying "the biggest surprise to me would be that he didn't do it sooner" and that Rodgers "just kind of fell into a good situation."

In response to that, Rodgers should have said...'If Brett didn't throw that INT to the Giants in NFCCG, I might have..'

 

Did anyone catch Favre's nephew, Dylan Favre this past Saturday in the UGA v MSU game? The Freshman backup QB played a few underwhelming downs, but made headlines at the post game presser when he announced his retirement plans after the season ends.

I feel like that day has already come. Once he jerked them around with his retirements, I think those fans thoought less of him. Now with Rogers playing the way he has the last few, I'm sure he's lost a lot of fans.

I used to be a huge Favre fan. But the last few years he's proven to be such a dick. It's sad really.

 

AND I remember when he used to get questions about mentoring Rogers and he basically came out and said "fuck that, I'm not mentoring him, he's on his own." Guess that was a blessing in diguise for Rogers.

Harrison blasts Favre

My man Rodney says it all.

In response to Brett Favre’s backhanded slap at Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, which the folks at 790 The Zone in Atlanta clumsily tried to minimize, Atlanta resident Rodney Harrison of NBC’s Football Night in America has loaded up the cannons and aimed them at Brett.

Harrison, appearing on the latest edition of NBC SportsTalk on VERSUS, called Favre “classless” and “immature.”
