Ok, aside from having some fans who just want to focus on me, THIS IS THE REAL PROBLEM WITH THE JETS: The Jets decided this season to become a throwing team. They decided after two years of run first, play it safe with Sanchez, don't let him do to much to take the training wheels off and become a throw first team. Just look at their personnel. They don't have ground and pound players. They have Greene who has a history of getting hurt and fumbling, LT whose a 3rd down specialist now, even McKnight is a breakaway type of back. Here's the problem: You can't become a throw first team with a still very young QB, without the OL being a major strength. Sanchez has to have the ability to stand back in the pocket like Brady does. Soon as the Jets OL sprung a million holes, the Jets throw the ball first strategy just can't work. And it's obvious this was their plan, starting with the Cowboy game. They want to throw the ball and have gotten away from the run by design.
NO THE REAL PROBLEM IS YOU MAKING THREADS. GET OUT OF HERE. stop posting here. you're an idiot. LET ME TELL YOU WHY SO I DONT GET BANNED. nothing you post is an original thought. none of it. its regurgitated garbage from people equally as stupid. come up with an original thought, sit on it for a few days to see if its a good original thought, and then once you realise its not, dont post it.
That's the whole game. They want to throw, they have personnel to throw and they can't keep Sanchez upright. And if Sanchez is presurred, he makes poor decisions. That's the whole game. And it's fun watching them throw alot. But not like this.
These threads are seriously getting annoying. The Jets can't run the ball. They have to pass. I agree with Iata, come up with some kind of original thought, we all heard this same crap 500 times by now.
The OL is the problem. They never decided to become a pass oriented offense, they have had to these first 4 games because the OL can't open any running lanes.
Well I apologize that a couple of you feel you run the site and are the only one's qualified to start a thread.
Exactly, nothing new here. They cannot run, so it is time to pass. The oline is falling apart at the worst time. And in year three, yes, eventually, the QB has to start earning his keep.
It's too early in the season for this kind of panic. Give it a little more time. I'd wait and see what things look like at the bye week. Nothing is a given in the NFL for anybody, which is why all the fan predictions prior to the season are so entertaining NOW.
I was about to say something like this. They are a pass first team because of our ineffective run game.
I'd say the main problem is that we can't run the ball. Does anyone here think that if we ran the ball three straight times out of a running formation that we could get ten yards?
They can't run the ball. No doubt about it.... I thought this guy Greene was gonna be a star. Don't know what the heck happened.
Maybe he reads all of the threads you badmouth him in and it is making him upset. A low self-esteem can be detrimental to many things, including football
When they can get a center that snaps the ball properly in Shotgun maybe they can pass the ball ok like in the Dallas game. They really are talented at WR and Sanchez was improving until the offensive line tried to get him killed last night.
What about here? Maybe this is the reason he had a bad game. This is all your fault 100% blame lies on you
