Bart has been an over-acheiver his whole career. He's lucky to have played next to some good linebackers. He's a solid player but not a gamechager consistently. He depends on his Dline soooo much, so that he can stay clean. He doesn't shed blocks well and gets frustrated and tends to check himself ( mentally) out and/or start fights...
I'll never forget him throwing the officials flag in the crowd after he commited a penalty when Baltimore had NE Pats perfect regular season on the ropes.

How about making some real good Jet points instead of just acting the way you do... Give it a shot.

Remember when you said you were done for the day? It was less than an hour ago.

Of course not. However, like I said in another thread, I listened to Woody every Tuesday night on Sirius NFL Radio. He expressed several times that he wasn't really interested in coming back for another season. Add to that the fact that Hunter played well and Woody was coming off an injury and it's no surprise that the team parted ways.

I know better than to argue with that. Like the old adage:

"A woman reserves the right to change her mind."

Do you have any understanding as to why Woody was cut? Read up on the salary cap and the impending lockout. They had no choice to avoid getting hit with penalties for being over the cap. Woody retired on his own merit. They even approached him again in TC and asked him to come back. He declined. The guy was injured and ready to move on.

They also offered him mimimum money to come back. Listen, the guy on the radio told Kay he'd be back at the right price, that the Jets were offering him squat.

Woody wasn't cut, he retired. According to this article, the Jets tried to get him back for one more year.

He probably got slower and forgot how to play in the last couple of weeks then.

Hey, I noticed something! Sometimes on the TV they don't mention someone's name when they are handling their assignment away from where the ball goes!! That's weird!!

Means absolutely nothing. He sucked last night.

I gotta find that clip of Collinsworth laughing.
