See this is why you have TO USE YOUR HEAD If you have a game being played on Central coast time. WHY WOULD YOU NOT HAVE THAT AS THE PRIMETIME GAME? Seriously....it would be 7:30 PM over in Texas if they got the primetime slot. Why would you not save the game that is being farthest played of the 4 cities(Philly, New York, Milwaukee, Texas) for the late slot? You would have avoided this and likewise not have fans having to get on the streets by midnight or later. God these people just irritate me. The NBA can get this right with its placement of pacific/central coast games and eastern time games. THE NBA!
On a side note, I would have punched my TV set if he said Sunday's game 2 was going to be scheduled at 8:05 PM and would have ran against the Jet primetime game. Sucks to have NFL Sunday ruined in a sense but at least its not against the Jets.

Tonight was such a damn letdown. Verlander vs CC could have been great (despite both giving up early runs). Maybe it's good for the Yanks that they avoid a full game of JV? Maybe he only sees 1 full game this series.
It's the Yankees own fault for being so damn good throughout history and for being located in New York. TV ratings are the reason why the game in Texas was played earlier than the game in New York.

If it weren't for television and their fucking revenue Game 2 would probably already be in the 3rd inning or starting in less than two hours. It's been beaten ad nauseum, television's bottom line has ruined the game to a certain degree and a lot of the game's classic moments the last 10 years have had to watched the next day on replay. Sabathia vs. Verlander....it's a shame. There was a day and age when 5 or 6 of the Champions League series games would be played during the day. It sucks for fans. Yesterday was gorgeous in the city.
