Peyton Manning likely out for 2011 season

    It's (semi) official now. As per NFL.com Jim Irsay stated Pey-Pey will likely be out for the season, but they're apparently keeping him on the active roster in the off chance that he might be able to play in December.

    No doubt or surprise this was happening. They will be out of the playoff hunt if he could even get back by November, so this is the right move by the franchise. My question: What does Peyton get paid this year? Does he get all that money? Like $20+ Million?

    I'm sure the Chiefs will have something to say about it, but it will be interesting to see if the Colts draft Luck with that first pick. They are certainly in the running now that Collins is hurt. I'm shocked Painter still has a job this morning.
