The thing that bothers me the most about the last two weeks are the really stupid decisions made by Sanchez. That INT he threw right after Kerley's big return was NOT something a 3rd year QB should be doing. Maybe it's time to color code the plays again.

Yeah. Lots of people here (myself included) expected a big jump from Sanchez in year 3. Granted, it's early and it could still happen, but he does continue to make bad, BAD decisions in forcing the ball in when he shouldn't. I was hoping he'd be over that now. Hopefully he gets it fixed quick.

    100% agree.

This is year three...enough of this shit already. Sanchez's decision making should be a little more sound at this point in his career.

Going a little drastic but he is still making a dumb throw or two a game right now. He better shake it off and go on one of his runs where he throws no picks for at least the next two weeks.

They simply put way too much pressure on him.

No Oline, no ground game, and not exactly the most talented receiving bunch in the nfl.

I mean look at Flacco hes got an elite Oline and a top ground game, Ryan has an elite ground game, an elite wr, and a top tight end, what the hell does Sanchez have other than a headache from getting creamed every other play

This is bullshit... EVERY QB makes mistakes... Tom fucking Brady threw 4 picks today.

Everyone should stop acting like Sanchez is a fusion of Joe Montana, Godzilla and Jesus Christ. Did he make a mistake? Yes. Did he play a decent game overall not making too many mistakes? Yes. And that about sums it all up.

It's funny, because before he even threw the pass, I'm screaming, "just throw it out of bounds..." but this game is not on Mark Sanchez.
This game is on the defense.

It's not the pass that bothered me. It was the decision to throw it against your body on 1st down deep inside Raider territory. You cannot do those things. Simply unacceptable. The INT he threw to Mathis last week was also a terrible decision.

I thought Sanchez was great tonight! Anyone who thinks otherwise is crazy. He made that bad INT, but he also is tough as nails and led the team to the final second. I was proud despite the loss. This game is NOT on him.

I agree. I see him making strides, but he's been so uncomfortable from his line sucking all year so far.

He's the most important part of the team, and he can't hit the top of his drops with comfort anymore. Its pissing me off.

That's exactly what he should have done.

Still a little nearer to the sideline and it's a TD... It's easy to get pissed looking back.

I think this is a nitpicking thread...Your main gripe needs to be with Schotty for designing that stupid playcall

Hopefully as the year goes on and they play together more Sanchez will realize that he can force the ball to Plax even when he is "covered". Most CBs in the league can't keep an eye on the QB and the WR down the field so even on a terribly thrown ball the worst you're going to have is an incomplete pass.

Look around the league and you'll see tons of TDs on jump balls in single and sometimes even double coverage, yet Sanchez and the Jets seem afraid to take their shots.

Seriously. Even Rodgers who almost never has a multi pick game threw one today. Apparently he is like at less than 2% ints per pass attempts, lowest ever.

Sanchez is better, but the receivers and offensive line and run game are worse this year. Hard to make a significant jump in year 3 when you are handicapped by those things.

Sanchez was good today, but that early in the game, you can't try to be a hero on a team that thrives off its defense and special teams.

He's just gotta put this one behind him, as does the rest of the team.

That INT he threw was on 1st down DEEP inside Raider territory when he was running out of the pocket. He should have thrown it away instead of throwing against his momentum into a crowd.

    Sanchez didn't lose this game.

Our defense sucked today. Rex knew he needed to stop Mcfadden and couldn't get it done.

The Jets looked like they were playing in slow motion.
