What's wrong with your old account? Why did you abandon it?

Chill, man. That's going a little overboard.

I happen to think nyjunc is right on this matter. I don't believe he has stated that either player was clearly more deserving than the other.

I saw both players play. Walker was a deep threat. Toon was a better all-around receiver. Toon was one of the most courageous receivers of all-time.

    Toon- 107 games, 517 catches, 12.8 avg, 31 touchdowns
    Walker- 154 games, 438 catches, 19.0 avg, 71 touchdowns

Toon and Walker only played together for a few seasons, but there is a comparison to be made to the 1960s Baltimore receiving duo. Hall of Famer Raymond Berry was the possession guy and Jimmy Orr was the deep threat. They were teammates from 1961-67.

Here are their career stats (Orr's stats with Pittsburgh are included)-
    Berry- 154 games, 631 catches, 14.7 avg, 68 touchdowns
    Orr- 149 games, 400 catches, 19.8 avg, 66 touchdowns

    Interesting tidbit-
Like Toon, Berry once played a full season and failed to score.

    Cakes....mind your own business.

    You're not the thread police.

Like you don't make smart ass comments.

Walker had a longer career and didn't have it cut short by injury.

Walker was every bit as good as a receiver as Toon.

71 Tds and won more games...I'd say Walker made more of a positive impact over his career.

I wouldn't egg on non-trolls if I was a moderator. You are getting too upset over this issue as if Walker is your relative or something.

    No! Walker isn't a relative..LOL.

Just expressing my opinion , which I believe is valid.

You don't have to worry about ever being a Mod on this board.

You always start shit with me, just like in the Fatcessa thread. You're not the judge and jury around here.

You're opinion of who is a troll is questionable, so I understand you sticking up for your pal.

Did you really need to insult people to express it? SundayJack just made a thread about that sort of behavior.

Now that Yisman is a moderator there is no reason for me to want to be one. I would also basically castrate my board character here if I became one because I do not believe moderators should stir up shit unless dealing with an obvious troll. It wouldn't be much fun anymore.

You were wrong in that thread and I had to help you get right.

I wasn't sticking up for him as if he was getting beat up outside an Applebee's or something. Rather, I just happened to agree with his viewpoint in this thread and had a few thoughts to add to the Toon-Walker discussion.

I liked both of them. I think there is an argument to be made in either direction. If it was my call, I would probably have put them in the ROH in the same year.

Cakes believe what you want, your perception is your reality.

I never use to have an issue with you, you use to particpate in our mock drafts and always enjoyed your input.

The past few years you seem to jump on a lot of posters, new and vets when your unhappy with their comments, like you're the thread police.

You jump that Patrick poster in the football pool...uncalled for.

I wasn't wrong with my initial post in the fatcessa thread, I expreseed my opinion why everyone is in a twist about what fat boy thinks. You come off telling me if I don't like it don't particpate. What gives you the right to tell me what to do in that thread??

You make need to but into everyone's business.

I apologized for attacking you later on after you starting being my policeman.

I recommend to ignore my posts, if you don't like what i have to say.

I don't agree with too many things you say but that list is spot on accurate. Have to throw Aaron Glenn in there as well. He was a very good player during his day.

Edit: I noticed you left Kurt Sohn and Billy Griggs off your list...

That thread did not mean there were no more jokes or insults allowed. How people managed to take it like that after god knows how many pages is baffling. It was about the gang mentality of hijacking a thread before it got started.

Part of the reason people like it here is we can fuck around and take jabs at each other. That shouldn't change for anyone, mods included. We don't lose our right to have some personality by getting our names in green. It can be a weird balance though.
