So does some games = two games? Without Charlie Weis, Matt Cassel is trash. That team's already thrown in the towel.
The only team now that the Chiefs really have a legit shot at is the Bronco's, as far as who's on their schedule, and maybe the Dolphins. The Chargers and the Raiders are far better teams than the Chiefs, though they have a small chance against the Raiders simply because the Raiders commit alot of self destructive penalties. The only way the Chiefs win more than 2 games now is if the other team totally screws themselves. They have a VERY tough schedule this year.
They are not better than Oakland or San Diego this year. I don't think they could do any better than 1-3 against those teams. Maybe they could beat Denver once or twice. Their schedule was pretty easy last year and was a big reason why I picked them to finish 9-7 or 10-6 last year and either win the division or finish 1 game behind SD. This year their schedule is not easy. Their remaining 14 games- at SD MIN at Ind at Oak SD MIA DEN at NE PIT at Chi at NYJ GB OAK at Den
one of my fantasy teams is totally fucked. two major injuries in my starting lineup in 2 weeks also, fuck you patriots. gates 0 points
I always had a bad feeling about the guy this year. I always thought it was because his coach was a dumbass and would force carries to Thomas Jones and Dexter McCluster but I guess this time my intuition paid off.
I don't know if you're the same guy that was saying this after last week but the Chiefs are a horrible team. They'll more than likely have a top 5 pick in next year's draft. Matt Cassel is a terrible QB (which was masked for a short time by Charlie Weis offense last season). Dwayne Bowe is ridden useless by Cassel's ineptitude. Jamaal Charles was their one difference-maker on offense. They don't have a very good defense (evidenced by the thrashing they just took from the Lions). This team literally has nothing going for it.
They're 2-0. It's doubtful they're going to lose enough games to nab the no. 1 overall pick at this point.
Berry and now Charles. I feel bad for the players themselves (you hate to see guys hurt like that), Cassel, and the Chiefs in general. I'd feel worse for them if their coach wasn't such a whiny bitch.
Too be honest I think the losing Berry was a bigger loss than losing Charles. Either way they are fucked
Watch McCluster step in and perform at a rate similar to Charles, he has a similar skill set. Cincy will not draft Luck as they just drated Dalton in the 2nd round this year, you have to think Indy needs a QB for the future more than any other team in the NFL
he also weighs about 30 less lbs. And that says something considering Charles isn't the biggest back either. mccluster can't handle more than a few touches a game. maybe in the passing game but not as a RB
No; without the cap, in fact, he would have gotten considerably more. I think next year the cap will likely rise and $24 million seems likely for Luck. Newton received $22+ this year.
I know. Just took the opportunity to get a dig in at Eli's school. If you think about it, you'll know why.
