The SD defense has made some of the dumbest plays in recent memory. Most notably was the defender picking it off and fumbling in the playoffs when knocking it down would've essentially ended the game. Today we had not guarding the sideline with under 10 seconds left and no timeouts for New England, and a free blitzer coming in and Brady and not getting his arms up, allowing a completion for a screen pass, resulting in a big gain. If you're running free right into Brady's line of vision, you know he's getting rid of it, so get your damn hands in the air.
