Please. It's easy for you guys who have only recently become Jets fans to say that. There's a lot of us who have been fans for 20, 30 or 40 years and have seen too much of this kind of shit. The team sucked balls tonight. They were lucky to win. An important game on a day of remembrance, and for much of the game they were an effing embarassment. I was ready to line 'em up and shoot all of 'em.
Who won the game? That's all that really matters. I've never played any sport and said after a loss, "well....we outplayed them in this area of the game." I was pissed I lost.
It's a good point. After all the stupid fucking penalties we took last season it's nice to see the team being a little smarter and not giving up unnecessary yards on unnecessary PI and PF flags.
If you don't believe that your team can win and are ready to write them off with a third of the game to go when they're two scores down, then I don't give a fuck how long you've been supporting your team - because you aren't.
Oh come on... on D we weren't great but all of their TD were excellent plays by them... you got to give them some credit! On O Sanchez passed for 335 yds!!! Sure, we didn't look polished but we aren't an all passing team and tonight we had to do it to take advantage of their weaknesses. Our ST played excellent football... so all in all good game.
No, it's not all that matters. If you'll recall in the first half of the AFC Championship Game, the team didn't show up. For the most part they didn't show up early tonight. Dallas had 3 rookies starting on their OL. The Jets should have been able to pretty much shut down the 'Boys offense and didn't. At times the 'Boys moved the ball at will. This easily could have been a loss. If not for two bonehead plays by Romo and a blocked punt, it would have been a loss.
I lost my voice, my head kills, and Im tired as fuck because of this game, and its awesome that we came out with a win. This one was for NY, and Im so glad we could show everyone how well we can overcome.

We're 1-0. That's all I care about. This team has character and doesn't give up like too many of their fans. When will they learn this? Nothing wrong with pointing out the things we need to fix, but don't give up. Have a little faith.
