Ok, so with the pain in the legs I'm up late at night...I caught the Huddle on the NFL channel...I nearly spit my vicodin on the the floor!!!!!

They were picking their teams to win the SB...I love Marshall Faulk...he had the Saints and Jets in the Bowl with the J-E-T-S Jets jets jets winning it all. I was floored! I think that is the first analyst I've read or seen this year that's picked us to go the distance!

    Amazing!

That loon Sapp picked the Chargers...if they can get out of their own way the first 8 games of the season. LOL

faulk is one of the best on NFLN.
he and jamie dukes are, in my opinion, the best analysts on that network.

Mike Mayock is better than Dukes.

I do like Marshall Faulk though - he's one of the best players turned analysts.

Agreed with both of you on Faulk, which is why I was kind of excited and pumped. Coming from him, an analyst I respect, was something I wasn't expecting.

I was watching last night as well. Was excited about Faulk's pick, but the thing i came away with, is I like Warner as an analyst. He speaks like somebody who went to class in college. He gives credit without overly praising everyone (gruden) he backs up his arguments. He also realizes that you don't have to yell for people to think you are smart ala Sapp and Irvin...

But yeah Mayock is the best analyst, then i would think Faulk and Dukes are two of the best player turned analysts, and Warner is somewhere in the upper echelon at this point.

Faulk backed the Jets a lot in 2010 too, including taking them over Pittsburgh in the championship game and taking them to beat NE when no one thought it was possible.

oh shit. i completely forgot about Mayock. totally agree.
Mayock is one of the most knowledgeable on that network.. dunno how i blanked out on that one.

Dukes offers good insights that most others don't.. hence my opinion of him.

    Mayock, Faulk, Dukes, Warner imo.

Always liked Faulk. I have to turn the channel when Dukes is on, he will never look a person in the eye when they are talking, he's arrogany know it all. he must the first one that picked the Jets, 99% are picking the Pats or the Chargers which is the way I like it. The Chargers? Did they get a new coach or something?

Faulk does his homework unlike Irvin and Sapp. They literally have the same football IQ as the average fan. I remember Sapp(and alot of other analysts) was blasting the Jets for pursuing Nnamdi and not addressing a pass rushing DE/OLB and Marshal asked Sapp, "what pass rushers are available"(pretty weak pass rushing free agency). Sapp tried to back peddle and recover with Ray Edwards as a solution and Marshall checked him again and pointed out Edwards only got 8 sacks with Jared Allen drawing double teams...Edwards isnt the answer

Was nice hearing someone give us a chance. Honestly i cant get why some many people are hanging all over the patriots but i guess its the norm for them. I look at it like this pats got beat by us in playoffs they gained out of shape hayns an old ellis who was next to worthless have the season esp against the pass a solid wr however there offense wasn't exactly bad and you can only spread the ball around so much and keep people happy. They lost 2 safeties who played 80 and 70 percent of there defensive snaps and somehow they are expected to have this god almighty defense and go embaress the league. Fuck them ....every year we add big names and get crushed in media as they say you cant buy good teams or waste draft picks (edwards, holmes etc...) yet the patriots trade pics for risky guys and its a genius move. Cant wait to take both from them this year and take the division after all we have the better team this division is ours.
