This guy is desperate for a QB, He has Hasselbeck and Henne. We start 2 QB's each week. I have Brees, Cutler and Kolb. The trade is I send him Kolb for DeAngelo Williams, Ryan Matthews and Johnny Knox. If I accept, I will have to drop Brandon Jacobs and Cowboys D, plus Rob Gronkowski to pick up Kerry Collins as my 3rd QB. Thoughts?
you are trading a guy who won't play for two RB's who could easily play this year, and a WR who is a solid bye play? yes, I would certainly do that trade. Both Williams and Matthews are likely better options than Jacobs and im asuming the boys d is your 2nd defense, no loss there. There isnt any other QB on the wire besides collins? but either way, its a good trade for you.
First off why do you " need " a 3rd QB. It's a waste of a roster spot. I'd just offer back with Kolb for DWill and Knox/ Matthews and just drop the Cowboys D and keep Jacobs. That way he thinks yur being nice to him. Also if he's willing to offer that much for Kolb see how much you can get out of Cutler...
Good ideas guys. You need a 3rd QB for BYE weeks, since we start 2 each week. Alex Smith, Tavaris Jackson and Kerry Collins are available.
Deangelo williams for your 3rd string QB? Do that shit yesterday. i'm not sold on matthews staying healthy and i think tolbert will take his carries, so i don't equate him. you should keep jacobs and drop knox
2 QB leagues are won by hoarding QBs. Don't do it, unless you get one of his QBs (which are both as good as Cutler). The teams scouring the waiver wire for QBs during bye weeks get screwed, while teams with 3 QBs win the championship.
