You shouldn't. We have so many much better talent evaluators here who simply volunteer their vast knowledge banks.

I remember Callahan visiting with Schlauderaff prior to the draft, I trust his judgement.

I hope he works out. But I am still concerned about our O-line depth.

Sorry, this might be a fake twitter account. There is NO confirmation.

...definitely fake. Same account tweeted that Mangold will miss the first four games.

Mangold could be dead, and they would bring him out like Weekend at Bernies, still making all the line calls.

I'm not saying I'm against bringing in Schlaudandruff... I trust Callahan on this one... just wanted to point out we better not have given Lowery away for next to nothing.

    It's a conditional pick.

My guess it's for a 6th rd pick, could escalate to a 4th or 5th.

What do you want for a backup safety?

Its tough to get anything above a 5th for a backup player.

Not going to miss lowery. He did have a knack to make a big play now and then but they didn't come often enough. I remember his rookie year he seemed to be always right there to make a play but would get beat by a hair. I expected him to make his adjustments and come out in yr 2 as solid cover guy but he just never got better. At this point I would rather have a rookie o-lineman with some upside. We need the depth there.

I liked Lowery, he had a few key interceptions and knockdowns. Can anyone give me a run down on this Schlauderaff guy?

He's like Vlad but without the potential.

It's pretty funny to think he got traded to Jacksonville where Rex said he will compete for the nickel corner job... a job currently held by Drew Coleman.

I think Lowery'e lack of special teams ability made him expendable. Your backup safety's have to be core ST's guys. Lowery has never stood out in this area.

Liked his versatility but he likely wouldn't have been active on gameday because he sucks on STs. Versatility doesn't do you any good if you don't have a jersey on.

I would be shocked and amazed if we got a 5 for him. Like someone said, we should hope he does well so we can get the best pick possible.

I didn't mind Lowery. He was always good for a couple big plays at key moments. It's too bad he ran with lead feet though.

sucks. i liked lowery, but he wasnt a good player. he was solid though, but not a big deal really.

i was at the vikings game at the 20 yard line 10 rows up. was pretty awesome when, lowery got that pick 6 to end the game.

I was a pretty big Lowery fan but this isn't that surprising. He seemed kind of forgotten this offseason/preseason.
