Who wins in this trade, PPR scoring: Roy Helu Beanie Wells Owen Daniels for Legarrette Blount Ben Watson Austin Collie
I guess Blount, Watson, and Collie, but if Wells and Helu get considerable carries it could go the other way. Is Watson still in the league?
You're upgrading at two positions so I'd take it. See if he'd be willing to make the deal if you took Daniels off the table.
Just completed a 10 round mock picking 1st overall. Absolutely killed it IMO. I got good value all over the board without any reaches. Knowshon I got with the last pick in the 8th rd. Wish this was a real team instead of just a mock. Anyways results are below. QB: Matt Ryan WR: Greg Jennings WR : Dez Bryant WR: Kenny Britt RB: AP All Day RB: Frank Gore TE: Antonio Gates K: Alex Henery DEF: Chargers Bench is QB Sam Bradford, RB are Knowshon Moreno & Brandon Jacobs, WR are Pierre Garcon & Lee Evans, TE is Gronkowski What's your opinions?
I think I beat ya on my 10 team live draft picking #1. QB: Matt Schaub WR: Calvin Johnson WR : Brandon Llyod RB/WR: Mark Ingram RB: Adrian Peterson RB: Darren McFadden TE: Owen Daniels K: Josh Brown DEF: Ravens D/ST Bench: Mario Mannigham, Mike Tolbert, Lee Evans, Mike Sims-Walker, Thomas Jones, Kyle Orton, and Roy Helu. I picked Helu last as a boom or bust pick, if Hightower doesnt show Helu is the guy over Torian. Im happy with this draft for sure, zero holes IMO.
I'd say it's pretty fucking close. Mcfadden is better than Gore. Lloyd I'm not to thrilled about in John Fox's offense. Who knows what to expect from Ingram. Manningham on the bench is awesome for sure. I try to avoid RBBC picks whenever possible but Jacobs was too good of value for me where I got him (round 12 I think) to ignore any longer. I'd say you did about as good as I did with a slight potential swing in either direction depending on whose judging. Nice job sir.
My first mock. 12 team ESPN mock only did through round 10. QB: Matt Schaub RB: Chris Johnson RB: Steven Jackson RB/WR: Cedric Benson WR: Miles Austin WR: Dwayne Bowe TE: Marcedes Lewis K: Not yet picked D/ST: Not yet picked BENCH: CJ Spiller, RB Jacoby Ford, WR Ryan Grant, RB
Got stuck with the 12th spot in a PPR, 6 PT passing TD league. Ended up stuck with a ton of handcuffs (didn't help that my kids got home around Rd 9), but I feel like I maximized my options with my starters: QB: Tom Brady RB: Ahmad Bradshaw RB: Felix Jones FL: Fred Jackson WR: Roddy White WR: Santonio Holmes TE: Greg Olsen BE: Lance Moore BE: Austin Collie BE: Roy Helu BE: Ben Tate BE: Delone Carter BE: Jerome Harrison BE: DeMarco Murray
whats up. doing my first fantasy football league and we did our draft last night. just looking for input on how bad or good i drafted. i was the 3rd pick in a 10 person draft. QBs: Matt Schaub and Joe Flacco RBS: Adrian Peterson, MJD, DeAngelo Williams, Beanie Wells WR's: Greg Jennings, Wes Welker, Dwayne Bowe, Lee Evans, Jordy Nelson TE's: Aaron Hernandez, Destin Keller K: Matt Bryant Def: Ravens Thanks.
Wait until after week 1 to see how MJD's knee looks, then try to trade D-Will for an upper echelon tight end. Also, is this a PPR/Flex league?
Keeper league, 10 teams. PPR weighted to favor RBs and TEs more than WR. 6 pts for all TDs. You can start 1 RB/3 WR or 2 RB/2 WR. Help me figure out how to solidify a championship. What should I be looking out for on the waiver wire or trading block? Tired of not winning this league. QB: 1) Brady 2) Bradford RB: 1) MJD 2) Ray Rice 3) Shonn Greene 4) Tolbert WR: 1) Andre Johnson 2) Jeremy Maclin 3) Plaxico Burress 4) Deion Branch TE: 1) Vernon Davis 2) Marcedes Lewis 3) Aaron Hernandez D: Jets, Chiefs K: Matt Bryant
12 team draft, I had 2nd pick. Pretty similar team to JohnnyThaJet. I like it, even though I didn't intend to basically draft the Houston offense minus Andre Johnson. QB: Matt Schaub RB: Arian Foster RB: Peyton Hillis WR: Hakeem Nicks WR: Brandon Lloyd RB/WR: Jeremy Maclin TE: Owen Daniels DEF: Chargers K: Rob Bironas BN: Beanie Wells BN: Daniel Thomas BN: Lance Moore BN: Mike Thomas BN: Rashad Jennings 1. (2) Arian Foster (Hou - RB) 2. (23) Hakeem Nicks (NYG - WR) 3. (26) Peyton Hillis (Cle - RB) 4. (47) Matt Schaub (Hou - QB) 5. (50) Brandon Lloyd (Den - WR) 6. (71) Owen Daniels (Hou - TE) 7. (74) Jeremy Maclin (Phi - WR) 8. (95) Beanie Wells (Ari - RB) 9. (98) Daniel Thomas (Mia - RB) 10. (119) Lance Moore (NO - WR) 11. (122) Mike Thomas (Jac - WR) 12. (143) Rashad Jennings (Jac - RB) 13. (146) San Diego (SD - DEF) 14. (167) Rob Bironas (Ten - K)
Dump Branch for a young guy who might breakout this year and has upside as a keeper (not sure who is on your wire but look for: Julio Jones, AJ Green, Greg Little, Emmanuel Sanders, Andtonio Brown etc.), trade Marcedes or Davis with Plaxico or Tolbert for an upgrade at RB or WR.
12th Pick out of 12, right? That's pretty good. You got a top-tier QB, an explosive starting-WR corps, and productive starting-RBs (assuming Felix Jones is actually utilized effectively this year, which will probably be the case). And according to one of my close friends who's from Charlotte - and therefore a Panthers fan - Cam Newton checks down to Olsen A LOT, so that's a nice selection. Yer bench is kinda ehh, but barring injuries to yer starters, as well as manipulating the BYEs, you should be competitive. ----------------- In a 12-team league, I got stuck with the 6th Pick, which kinda sucked because there was no benefit on the comeback picks (i.e. no matter what, I was always 6th). So, I tried to make do and grab top-tier players at their position. In the 1st Round, I drafted Rodgers, and in the 2nd Round, I drafted Shonn Greene (homerism aside, he was the best RB available). This is the entire roster: I went WR-heavy for my bench because, in the later Rounds, that's where the value was, as there weren't many/any good RBs left. So, I'm gonna try to deal a player (or two) for another serviceable RB.
