Had no time to watch. How was the offensive line all together this game. I haven't seen any threads on the unit. Is no news good news? Was vlad any more then a giant statue out there?

Running wise, wasn't good...Bengals controlled the line and stuffed LT quite a bit but the Jets mostly ran up the gut. Passing wise they pressured Sanchez quite a bit but I felt Sanchez did well despite the heavy pressure. 2nd unit did better against the Bengals 2nd unit...but it helped that McKnight I feel is a better runner than LDT now and Jennings broke through a pile to run 69 yards.

A little hard to evaluate. It was pouring rain and the field was like a slip and slide.

Yeah, what Mogriffjr said. And LT didnt really show me much, I think McKnight and Jennings deserve more carries.

Ya I saw the Jennings run in a highlight on their main site. Was sanchez sacked? if so how many? Cause the Texans game he looked like he barely had a second to throw at times.

OL looked bad. 2nd stringers all suck.

at least we didn't give up 8 sacks this time. Ill withhold judgement until he entire starting o line actually plays together.

We all know starters are solid, its the back-ups that look really bad.

We still had Ducasse on the starting line. Saving my judgment for when Moore returns to the lineup.

We didn't exactly take the time to establish the run game. The playcalling trended heavily toward the pass given Greene's absence and the introduction of Burress to the lineup. Sanchez needs the preseason to build his chemistry with his WRs. With a regular game plan, it could have looked incredibly different.

I would agree with that, and as long as Mangold was in there, the OL play was at least decent. He's still the man as far as that is concerned. But... the bench OL players do not impress.

D'Brick struggled on few plays more than I would have liked to see, rain was factor though

Vlad looked a little better last night, Maybe it was because he was a RG instead of RT and he had Mangold there to tell him who to block. We will have to see. I still think he is a danger to those around him but to be honest he did play better!

also, It looked to me as if one of his two false starts was not his fault.

Improved from Houston game but nothing special. There wasn't much room to run which I'm guessing is due to:

    Cincy's stout defensive line
Callahan/Shottenheimer ran vanilla rushing plays (little to no pulling or zone blocking schemes)
Brandon Moore out and Ducasse starting at RG
    Weather was dogshit
LT wasn't very explosive.. actually he just wasn't explosive at all

Its only preseason of course but before it ends, I am hoping to see some evidence that we can run the ball reliably and effectively. Our starters were getting pushed back pretty handily by the Bengals on running plays who seemed to be getting consistent penetration into our backfield.
