#1 We have a very good current Jersey/logo. Definitely the best in the AFC East and probably one of the top three in the the AFC. Regardless of how you feel about them as a team, the Steelers and Raiders are really tough to beat aesthetically. The Patriots on the other hand have an absolutely terrible jersey/logo. "Patriots" is such an old timey and classic team name, yet they have uniforms that look straight out of 1996. Silver helmets with an in motion Patriots head? WTF? #2 Please kill the titans jerseys forever. I get that at one point that was our actual look, but now it is completely disassociated with our teams look. If you had no context behind it and showed someone those uniforms, they'd have no clue which team is playing. I am all for throwbacks, but when any team completely changes their colors its stupid. I am for ANY incarnation of Jets throwback as long as it isn't the titans.
I thought the plan for this season was set. We would have one game where we wear the throwback Outfit and instead of the Titan Cack it would be the 80's Jets Uni from the O'brien, Klecko era. I dont want to change from out current Uni, but I was looking forward to seeing that 80's Uni come out for 1 game. So its in doubt? or not going go happen?
I think everything about the current uniform is awesome, and is one of the better unis in football and across sports. Maybe that's because I became a fan of the Jets and a regular season football fan in 2001, the year with all the Vinny comebacks. Sans the green on green because the pants don't appear to be same shade of green, just isn't as aesthetically pleasing as the other combos. I don't know what's to dislike about the oval helmet decal. But I would like to see the 80's/90's jersey featured. The Titans one is wrung out.
+1 The 80's logo is distinctly different from that of the 90's one as the 90's look was a brighter green w/ the black trim. I would love to see the jets bring back the sack exchange look for a game or 2
Our uniform is bland and lame our logo is even worse here is an idea... how about a logo that represents the name of our team!? nothing ugly about the uniform and logo but there is nothing memorable about them either not the ugliest in the league but definitely the least intresting all of these would be better than what we have now
lol well the difference in our opinions is probably because of the difference in our age the packers and the yankess are historic and storied franchises i can see them not changing that We arent the yankees or the packers... impressive collection of jerseys btw
I love our uniforms now, I think they are classy and identifiable. What more do you need? That being said I wouldn't mind a 80s throwback here and there but nothing permanent.
