Nobody can deny he looked shitty in pass coverage, that's the reason hunter was given the starting gig without a competition. Ducasse still has a lot of work to do, luckily he has the best in the business teaching him.

Good to see the resident panickers haven't lost their touch during the lockout. When will you guys learn some patience?

This... even if he only ever develops as a "jumbo TE" in our heavy run sets he's still worth the pick.
Lockout hurt him bad but he needs to be out there getting as many snaps as he can (preferrably at one position only).

Thanks god we had Hunter on the roster and we re-signed him... however I think we need to look for a veteran backup T to back up Ferguson and Hunter as Ducasse is too much of a liability atm.

With Turner backing up C/G and someone backing up the Ts I'm ok with having Ducasse around as a healthy scratch all season long.

You take your logic and tempered thought elsewhere, sir.
Do we know the extent of his injuries yet?

    Same here.

Ducasse has to become a better-than-average starter to be worth a second rounder.

Who's still available out there for O-line? Jets are under cap and have money to spend.
Can't just use "The Turnstyle" for running plays although it would be recommended it might tip off other team as to what Jets are doing.

Agreed but with the limited offseason he catches a little break. That's why Hunter got such a big deal in the first place.

It's the first preseason game. Too early to write anyone off yet. Except Campbell. Cause fuck him.
