Source: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000...ns-with-coach-ryan?module=HP11_headline_stack Jesus, Nacho take a chill pill lol. He played lights out after that incident though, had that huge game in Chicago if I recall correctly.
I was just reading this story. Ironically, I don't know if telling the media you wanted to fight your coach isn't on par with the honest sentiments he dislikes from Rex.
big deal.... like sanchez is not supposed to be angry if he was to get benched...nothing interesting about this story
Sanchez was playing like HORSESHIT at the time. How could he be upset with anyone but himself after the Pats/Phins games.
I would be more worried if the starting QB didn't want to throttle his coach for wanting to bench him. Nothing to see here........
Exactly, just more evidence that Sanchez wants it. I'm sure there have been young men struggling in the NFL who wished or maybe even asked the coach for a break. OUR QB knows he just had to fight through it.
Saw it on the Post cover today, had no problem with it. For the record, if I had to bet I'd say Rex with a TKO early.
Just what Rex Ryan wanted him to think. Good coaching. Sanchez got the message and played great after.
all this means is that our qb has a sack and a fire to win and do well in him. i wish more players had this attitude and stepped up after the fact like mark did (we dont need a guy goin spreewell on rex)
I think Rex was just using the threat of benching as a motivation tool, because like I said in the OP, Sanchez played some great football after that.
There are 2 things that I find curious about this article on NFL.com The first is the lack of author credit on the NFL article reporting the GQ article. The second is the link on the page urging the reader to subscribe to GQ for exclusive content. Definitely sensationalism for profit. That article on the NFL site almost qualities as intrusive spam.
