Is derrick mason going to sign?????

Was always a huge fan of Mason. He's old as balls but he provides a set of sure hands. Definitely a great guy to have on the team.

 

Holmes, Mason, Plax, Kerley

All of a sudden the depth doesn't look so bad.

Another potential Jet HOFer on his way out.

this certainly will help to alieviate a lot of the worry over losing Cotch.

Mason will be a great mentor to Kerley, Mcknight and the other young WR's we are helping to groom.

 

Don't mean to throw shit on anyone's fire, but until he comes in and signs the deal I will hold off on the celebrations. I believe Aso said the same thing and then butt fucked us with no KY and not even a reach around....

If he does come in and sign the deal then another nice P/u by the Jets ....

 

Very good signing. I was worried about going with Holmes, a 34 year old who hasn't played in 2 years, and a rookie.

This is very nice. Gives Kerley a chance to develop without too much pressure.

 

But he doesn't know the city, or the stadium, and will be homeless.

Could spell trouble.

 

There is a difference between Rumors of what a player said and what a player actually says.

 

I think Woody should hire someone who indeed knows the city and stadium to show Mr. Mason around.

 

Aso never said he was joining the Jets.

What I say to you on a message board should not fucking matter.

 

How do you think Giant fans feel seeing us signing most of our important FA's and within 2 days of losing our # 3 WR, bamm, we upgade the position and them come to us for a discount. Nobody plays for the Jints on a discount, even there own players. We really are the #1 NFL team in town, like its not even close.

 

Being nice matters no matter what communication method you use is how people treat each other, especially, fellow jet fans. its only a game

 

Being coherent and able to be understood matters even more is hard to understand when someone uses run on sentences, especially, when you are trying to be profound. it's only a game

 

I can't wait to see the Jets destroy the Giants this season and take over this town for good. We really are outclassing them in every way right about now.

This helps me feel a bit better about our WR position this season, but Mason is getting up there in playing years. Although he's been solid for such a long time, I'm going to withhold judgement until I see what he can do. As it stands however, I'm happier with him then I am with the Plaxico signing.
