    Tanny didnt suddenly become stupid if there was a chance to get braylon for that kind of money and he passed it up then you know that it would have been for a very good reason

    The #Jets got Plaxico Burress for $3M. Braylon Edwards got $3.5M from 49ers. Huh?

    One played football last year, one hasn't for 3 years. Edwards WAS NOT EVER gonna take 3.5mil from the Jets for 1 year.

    Plus, I think there were some in the FO and coaching staff that really wanted to move on from him anyway.

    Only thing I could think of is he wanted to go somewhere to be the clear #1 so he could put up numbers for a contract next year.

    Gunna have to wish him the worst, though. Claimed he wanted to be here then jumps ship for 3.5
