I don't think anything above has me saying I didn't want Holmes back. I didn't like what I heard he was asking for.
That thinking thing again. I told you to quit it, it isn't a good look for you. Edit- 10 million a year was the max anyone was even thinking about and that is exactly what he got. You were wrong but you already have a thread about that fact.
How is offering to pay him what the team is able to pay for a commensurate role "screwing" Ellis over? If it's a joke, he's free to take his services elsewhere. Tanny isn't impacting Ellis' ability to earn money. He's not stealing money from him. He's offering a contract which Shaun can choose to accept or not. He has the ability to choose any offer and option presented to him.
Scott didn't HAVE to restructure, and in fact, it worked out quite well for him. He wouldn't have seen the full value of his 2012 salary. Now the whole thing is guaranteed.
So our WR # 2 and # 3 will respectively be 34 and 37 years old ???? I know Mason still showed decent figures last year but I don't really understand that potential signing. Except to mentor Kerley.
I'm starting to come around to the theory that Cotchery requested a trade to a team that could offer him a starting job.
