Why are we even talking about WRs when we still have no one covering the middle of the field? I'd honestly rather focus our attention on Abram Elam than another WR right now.

I guess that opinion would change if we could get Digs back but I don't want to go into the season with Emmanuel Cook being our backup.

If we start signing guys for $5 million per, we'd better hope we don't need to retain Leonhard and Pouha next season.

Wouldn't surprise me if both are gone after this year. Depends on how K Ellis plays.. if he does at all. Pouha's going to command 4-6 million at 33 years of age.

Leonhard is replaceable unless he cuts the Jets a discount. Sucks because he's Rex's guy but there is no cap room to play with it looks like. I could see the Jets taking a safety with the first pick next year.

They won't take a safety first unless the talent at OLB and WR suddenly disappears off the board by the end of the first round. Those two positions will take our first two picks if the talent is there.

I think we'll likely lose one of the two, but slapping $5 million+ on the cap for a guy who can't keep his head on straight seems like an unnecessary risk and hampers our ability to keep our team together...and last week I was desperate for the team to keep him.

It'll probably be BPA out of OLB, S, WR.. respectively. I don't know shit about draft classes so I'm not sure which of those three, if any/all three is supposed to be strongest. The FA WR's for 2012 are really good though so I feel that the Jets FO will shy away from drafting a receiver in the first.

No man. NO! NO!!!111 NO!!11 You seriously want Plax/Holmes/Edwards together? They will turn Sanchez into a meth chemist.

Plus I will be absolutely shocked, if Braylon gets 2 years, or anywhere close to $10million.

I think its worth signing Braylon just to say we have this trio.

Look, If Mark is going to be the quarterback we all think he can be, then he is going to have to figure shit like that out. I doubt Peyton Manning or Tom Brady would complain about having three receivers as talented as Braylon, Santonio, and Plaxico. Great quarterbacks utilize the weapons at their disposal to the fullest.

Btw, this is fun to think about, but I still say it's not happening.

oh i highly doubt this happens but it would be sick. think about a guy as talented as santonio playing the slot with those two monsters on the left and right.

it makes the blood flow a bit for this guy

2 6'5" recievers for Sanchez to play with? That would suck.

FYI as far as coverage skills I think Cook could be better than Ihedigbo. What Dig does so well is blitz the living shit out of opposing QBs... not cover...

Funny you say that. I would have sworn she was no more than 13 or 14 myself.
