Maybe not, but in terms of skill Moss is better, thats not even up for debate.

You can't *tell* a player to take a reduction, and no player should be willing to take less money unless he's in a desperate situation. Pace and Scott can't be cut. What reason would there be for them to take less money?

As far as restructuring them, there's a good chance it already happened. And there's an even better chance that those restructures are a cause for the current situation with Cotchery.

The Patriots have won 3 championships by cutting or trading players at the right time.

You 'mentioned' that Scott was going to be cut because he was overrated, and he restructured and got more base salary turned into guaranteed money. Curtis Martin restructured his contract twice in the 2000s. It wasn't because he was overrated, it was because the team needed help managing the cap number.

    Should I write this down?

I want to win the SB so I could care less about loyalty.

Just put a winning team on the field.

I maybe wrong about (and I'm sure there are people who won't hesitate to tell me), but I've always been under the impression they've under utilized Keller so far. Why change now?

I wonder if maybe someone like Turner or Payne impressed Sanchez during the off-eason workouts... after all Payne almost made the team with the Vikings last year and Turner was a 3rd rd pick and Sanchez's team-mate at USC...

    Michael Lombardi

Jets lowered the salary of B Scott and C Pace by 1 million this year BUT will guarantee all of their salaries in 2012. Nice trade off

I would think that they need to get a good look at Kerley before trading him, but that is just me.

I think this is about bringing back Braylon Edwards. After the lukewarm reception he's receiving as a free agent, I think he went to the jets with a really good deal and they're seeing if they can make it happen.

Trading Cotchery only makes sense to get someone else who has a history with Sanchez - namely, Edwards.
