It's Warren or Shaun Ellis returning. Personally, I would want Ellis back.

I think you're right. I was sorry to see him go. I think his hip is still not 100%. I'd love to have him back, but I think he wants to play closer to home in TX. If you get him, you should sign him.

If he's healthy then it seems like a good idea. Obviously without Ellis, we could do with an experienced 3-4 end who can start but doesn't need to be a superstar. I'd prefer if we'd just resign Ellis though.

“@SI_PeterKing: I also hear Ty Warren can be had for something close to the minimum if he could go to a contender. Not going back to NE.”

I think you're right. With his injury issues, I wouldn't give him a big contract. He seems to be a very nice guy, although his dedication has been questioned. he might work well as part of a rotation.

why not both guys!? I love the depth & we really need it @ the position. he said (Warren) he'd sign near the minimum. (Ellis & Warren)

How about some confidence in the young guys we have up front? DL is one of the few positions on this team where we actually have some decent prospects...

I agree, but they need time to develop. I doubt they'll be that much of an impact this year. Another possible option is off the board now. Kelly Gregg signed with the Chiefs this morning.

A good D-lineman, even as a rookie can most def. make an impact in his first year.

I hear ya, I just said I doubt it though. the Steelers running all over us still has a bitter taste in my mouth too.
