exactly. I'm worried that we will turn around and give Cro 9 million + to be the highest bidder. He is not worth 9 million. Its better to let him walk than overpay. We have Wilson who is ready to step up and bringing in a guy like Chris Carr to compete with him is the perfect plan.

All i know is we have to start making moves quickly, camp starts tomorrow!

None of the free agents can report until the 4th anyway.

Jets signed Eric Smith, but Brodney Pool and Braylon Edwards are too expensive.

I really hope they aren't going to give Cromatie $10 million a year:

    1) He can't tackle for shit
    2) He can't cover smaller quicker wr's
    3) he's the third down penalty machine.

i hope not either.... but thats what its looking like. I really would rather let cro walk, and bring in some young potential guys who really fit our mold. Chris Carr, James Jones/Malcolm Floyd...

worst case, we should be getting compensatory picks for all the guys we lose (if it's still in the cba) ... tanny with 10-11 draft picks is a good look

No Pool AND Edwards + maybe overpaying for Cromartie? This FA is turning VERY ugly...

Well, at least we signed Holmes, who's the best WR in this Free Agency class.

I like Floyd if we can land him. Plax I think is going to end up on the Giants. (Watch their fans do a quick 180 on how they feel about that motherfucker) MOss is Moss...his track record the past few years is horseshit. Floyd is young, talented, a go up and get it redzone taget...and dont forget the most important part....TALL!!

I guess they believe that either Smith or Lowery can start there. Yikes.

No chance, we'll sign as many as we lose.

This is such horseshit... We can afford Nnamdi but not brodney pool? we can afford Aso but not Edwards? you have to be joking me. Edwards wants to be here, he was a huge success with us in the 2 years we've had him, he needs to be signed.

Fuck Cromartie. He played well for us, but its not like he was locking guys down every week, and was a 3rd down penalty machine. i wouldnt pay him more then 6 million... not with guys like carr around and with wilson on the roster.

hell id rather give that money to jenkins then cromartie.

ugh i didnt need this crap this morning

Agreed, I'd pretty much rather go with Braylon + Carr/Wilson then Cromartie + Floyd or something.

I have a feeling we are not really out of the braylon talks completely. I think we are gonna sit back look at what he is offered and, if feasible, try and don what the eagles did to us and come over the top.

I just dont see it... all indications are that before Nnamdi and after Nnamdi jets just have no interest in even negotiating with braylon. he himself said he wanted to be back, but felt the feeling wasnt mutual.

i just hope the guy we replace him with isnt moss. and that our money we have left doesnt go to cromartie.

We should go hard after Michael Huff. He's a really good all around FS and would bs a solid addition to our secondary.

Huff, James Jones, and Philip Buchanon. I'd be happy with that.
