All because they picked up a malcontent and a wash-up, while we got burnt on Aso... ESPN is going to be unbearable until the season starts.
You just posted the same crap in another thread, come on man. Holy shit the overreaction is complete bullshit around here and reeks of trolls.
If Mark Sanchez plays like he does in the playoffs we will be a LOT better and dominate the Pats. If he doesn't, then yes the Pats will probably win the division again. But IMO the AFC is weaker as a whole this season. If anything, the NFC looks much tougher...
I know, I'm just tired of teams getting it undeservedly. I don't really care about who the team is, it's just the principle of it. HEY LETS GET THE BIGGEST NAME/OVERPRICED FA ON THE MARKET WE DID IT! WE'RE SUDDENLY THE BEST TEAM EVAR!!!!111
The Pats will always get love as long as Brady is still there and B.B. They dont see how overrated that fat P.O.S is and they wont mention how adding Ocho will not really help them when they face the JETS.
you do realize FA only just began right? plenty of guys we can add to improve out roster to make it better than it has been. Right now we are spurned and licking our wounds. But the season isnt over because scrabble is an Eagle. Right now is why tanny makes the big bucks. he will rebound and sign all the role players we actually need to take us to the next level. He won't get to make his yearly splash, but he will bring in role player upgrades at the OLB position (Matt roth?, manny lawson?) He could add a top 3-4 DE in Cullen Jenkins. Safties are out there for us.... we could be looking at CB's Chris Carr, Cromartie and others, WR like Braylon, Malcolm Floyd, Michael Jenkins, James Jones. We could also be looking at some 4-3 DE's we might try to stand up like a Jamaal Anderson. We have options to improve this team a ton. The sky may seem like its falling, but we are going to be just fine.
to be fair they went 14-2 last year and haven't lost anyone major, we so far have lost our #2 WR, #2 CB and our KR/WR4 without adding anyone major, so yes they should be the favorites to win the East unless we make some moves.
Ocho gives the Pats a physical receiver who can run the tough routes on and outside the numbers. It will open up the middle a bit more for the slot guys, TEs, and running backs out of the backfield. If nothing else, it could Revis out of the middle of the field and off Welker.
aka the Miami Heat. And did it make them the best team ever? Nope Just because someone is good on paper doesn't mean they will actually be the best.
Haynesworth is still a big crapshoot. It hasn't even been announced yet and Albert may not even get out of training if he acts like a head-case. Ocho is less of a risk as he's an addition to an already good WR corps. Let's just say I feel better now that you didn't land Nnamdi.
The biggest problem in winning the division remains the fact that nobody other than the Ryan Brothers can beat the Pats so that makes them what 14-2 again?
they are UFA so as of right now they are not on the team, even if we resign them though we have the same team as last year, so yes it is fair to project the Pats as division winners.
