Everyone knows he's not worth anything. I don't see how anyone would take the contract. It's not that different from the Fukudome situation, except that Bay's contract runs longer. There are teams that would take Bay, but they're not taking the money and they're not giving up any decent prospects. Bay's contract was dumb as hell, and I argued against it since it was signed. 5 years (including the vesting option) to a 31 year old on a team that wasn't ready to contend. Even if he had hit better it wouldn't have made sense.
