Yeah, but I don't post on yours, and if I did I wouldn't use faggot smileys in my post.

If you are a 13 year old girl, I apologize for for calling you a faggot.

If you read my post in the Free Agent thread on the Jets main board, you would see that the Pats are not a strictly 3-4 team anymore. They played 57% of their defensive snaps in 2010 in sub packages and only 40% in a base 3-4.

He was and could be a top lineman again. The Redskins misused his skill set and tried/succeeded to publicly embarrass him. He's going to be on the wrong side of 30 and hasn't played a lot of football in over a year. None of us will know what he's capable of again until the season starts and he gets to really pressure a QB outside of a training camp situation.

As far as being a "good little pats soldier", he doesn't have a choice. Either he will be one or he'll be gone is my guess. It depends how badly he wants to redeem his career. It's entirely on Albert at this point, in my opinion.

Well, I am a fan of Tom Brady. So I must be a 13 year old girl, no?

I just don't see him being a 'good negro' in the Boston tradition.

He has been on record talking about how much he likes New England. Who knows, I certainly don't, but I hope it works out and he plays some motivated football.

Most Pats fans thought (or maybe just hoped) the Jets locker room would fall apart with Holmes, Edwards, and the Octodad but it didn't, they ended up being just fine. I think the Pats will survive Haynesworth even if it is only for a limited time.

Because he's a much better negro than that bad Randy Moss that demanded to be thrown to all the time.

Why couldn't the Mad Genius control that situation?

Bill the douch seems to always get very good pliers for next to nothing. I can see him blowing guys up in the Pats D.
You know BB will get the most out of his fat ass.

that's a pretty good move for a 5th rounder even if he's an ax murderer in the locker room.

And Ocho Cinco is tweeting all sorts of hints about going to New England.

Dear lord, please make this happen.

I'd fancy my wife's chances of getting through the Bear's offensive line, Jay Cutler spent more time staring at the floodlights last season than he did throwing the ball.

He shops at Sears. Great selection of screwdrivers too.

Classic low-risk, high-reward scenario. By 2013 Belichick will have stockpiled about eight 5th round picks anyway.

If Haynesworth slacks or screws off, they'll cut him faster than you can say waiver wire.

As for fitting into the system, Belichick generally builds around his players' skills. They're not going to make Haynesworth do something he sucks at, or is for whatever reason unwilling to do.

Yeah, I know the Bear's line isn't anything to write home about, but using a several hundred pound man as a battering ram to knock another man onto his ass is impressive.

Yes, all very nice. And I couldn't agree more - a player with Haynesworth's talent for a fifth round pick in the 2045 NFL Draft seems to be a reasonable gamble. But there was a time when we would hear all about the "Patriot Way," and how "character matters." Horseshit seems to age like fine wine.

The Patriots should offer a 1st rounder for Ocho and Carson Palmer just to see how the Bengals would respond.

I actually agree... no denying that. They've brought in guys in recent years who have had major character issues. The ones that bought into the system stuck around, and the ones that didn't, didn't. It's just difficult to argue with sustained success, if you know what I mean.
