PK Nick Folk returning to the Jets, per @TheTitanGrp. #Jets #nyj

Good move, he's underrated by Jets fans and was the best option out there that made the most sense.

It's so tense watching him attempt a FG.

I kind of liked Hall better, just because Hall tried to hit people on special teams.

At least we'll never just go pee when the Jets line up to kick.

Akers hasn't exactly been money in the playoffs the past few seasons. I'll take the guy who came through for us when our entire season was on the line.

I agree, Nick Folk came up huge on the road against the Colts in Indy. That wasn't an easy kick and he deserves to be back with the Jets next year. That game winning FG during the playoffs could end up doing wonders for his NFL career but only time will tell from here on out. He's only 26 years of age, so there's room for improvement.

His FG % of 77% wasn't anything to be proud of last season, but he did nail 30 FG's which was good enough to rank for 4th overall. His long of 56 yards was also good enough to rank as the 6th longest FG of the season. 30/39 wasn't great, but I'm confident that Folk will have a much better season this year, just for the simple fact it's not his first year with the team and he now has an idea of what it takes to kick under the New York pressure.

    Good signing.

I'm not a fan of this rule, I've always enjoyed special team KO returns, but the NFL has also moved kickoffs up to 35-yard line, while bringing touchback out to 25 yard line With Folk's strong leg? Teams shouldn't start any further than the 25 yard line this season, forcing opposing O's to drive at least 75 yards for a TD. Which won't be easy to do against the Jets defense under Rex Ryan.

Other than Akers, I think Folk was the best option.

He has a boot, and he had a great season. Let's hope he can keep up the good work.

He gives me the sh*ts, but what kicker doesn't?

Folk better practice outside when it gets colder out.
