http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/profilexnews.php?pyid=79820&draftyear=2011&genpos=OLB Draft Scout Snapshot: DS Rating on 9-1-10: #12 DE, #101/750 Overall, 4 2010: Led TCU's 2011 Rose Bowl championship team with 14 tackles for loss and 6 1/2 sacks from his defensive end position in 2010. Daniels and TCU quarterback Andy Dalton were the only two unanimous first-team All-Mountain West Conference selections this season. He closed his TCU career by recording two tackles for loss among six stops in the 21-19 Rose Bowl win over Wisconsin. He opened the season with two sacks in a 30-21 victory over Oregon State. A Kilgore, Texas, native, Daniels was instrumental in TCU leading the nation in total defense for a third straight season...2009: Second-team All-Mountain West Conference in his first season as a starter ... placed second on TCU with 5 ½ sacks, trailing only All-American Jerry Hughes (11 ½) ... fourth on the team with 9.0 tackles for loss ... led the Horned Frogs with two fumble recoveries ... placed sixth with 50 stops, including a career-high eight in the 14-10 win at Clemson ... closed the season with three stops, including one for loss, and a pass breakup in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl...2008: Recorded his first career sack in the 48-7 win at SMU ... eight of his 11 tackles on the year were of the solo variety...2007: Redshirted in second season with the Frogs...2006: One of four true freshmen to see action ... played in nine games ... recorded his first collegiate tackle in the 31-17 win at Army.
Daniels should be an excellent ST player. Situational pass rusher that is quick off the edge. Daniels should have been drafted, lack of size hurt.
BC LB Mark Herzlich has not decided on the Ravens. He is still deciding on a team. This news per his twitter. per NFLDraftInsider
Not midnight, I believe the time is 10 AM tomorrow And I believe Derrick Locke may have "committed" to the Rams
Hmmm. I'll have to paraphrase, but I seem to remember Westy telling Mully something along the lines of "listen kid- you're no Gonzalez. But that's OK. Just concentrate on doing what you do." In other words... you're no tight end, you're a special teamer.
I still find it strange that I have not seen Deunta Williams name get mentioned with any teams yet. I have seen 10-15 safeties linked with teams already, but no Williams. Hopefully he is just waiting for the Jets to call.
I saw on ESPN, I believe, that Clayton says UDFAs can sign tonight. It's the first transactions allowed by the league. When I find the link.... http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/6801695/undrafted-rookies-agree-contracts-immediately-source-says Edit: Sorry, I'm a dick. From article: ""Teams can negotiate with rookies tonight but not sign them until tomorrow," Aiello wrote. misleading title to story.
