The only positive thing I recall from last year about Pool was something he did with his feet near the sideline that the commentators were wetting themselves over.

And that pick in the AFCCG.

No big deal though, it only kept the Jets in the game.

Oh, I didn't know the Jets were getting 30+ points a game put up on them, and they were all Brodney's fault too.

If he was that out of it they would have given him the Kyle Wilson treatment. You don't play someone who you have little to no faith in. You're clueless.

Not clueless at all... They were weak at safety,, they really didn't have a choice. Kyle Wilson was a little differrent. He's a corner.

I was so excited that we were going to be able to talk football again. Then I read some of the posts in this thread. Now I'm thinking about asking Woody to reinstate the lockout.

So the Jets were loaded after Cro and Revis at the CB position?
    Yeah...okay.

His book is boring. That being said, their are two great Jet books coming out in early September. One I think focuses on the Jets teams of the early 1980's.

Of course you do! Because the group shredded you for a stupid and ignorant post. I'm starting to see a trend with the posters that think there's a Member's Only group on the board! It's starting to become apparent!

The key statement is after Revis and Cromartie... Revis the best CB in the game and Cromartie is real good... Who were the safeties that rivaled those two? No one close to that at safety.

OK, I'll play. If the Jets let Smith and Pool go as you suggest, who are the starting safeties? Leonhard (an undersized veteran coming off a major injury) and Lowery (a somewhat converted corner)? Who backs them up? Undrafted FAs? FAs who don't know our system? And that's a good thing?

I didn't say they should let them go, based on what you listed above... They have no one better but that doesn't make them good.. That is their weakest position.
