I imagine the rotation will switch up a bit with the all star break coming up, if anything to rest RA a bit and let him heal.

Another gritty balls win, how the hell Duda gets in to this line up amazes me even allowing for injuries. His at bat discipline is shit and as for his glovework...jesus he fields like he has a foam finger not a glove

    Anyway..moan over...hangove is kicking in!!

Collins has been fantastic this season..he deserves so much kudos

I agree. It makes me appreciate Cohen/Darling/Keith even more.

The Bison infield is making it difficult for Capuano to make it out of the first. Mistakes by Duda, Turner and a tough decision for Tejada have led to two runs. Mets down 2-1, bases loaded and 2 out.

Capuano settles down nicely for a 1-2-3 inning. Need to get on Lincecum soon before he settles down.

that whole inning was duda's fault. if he'd gotten the out at first it'd be 2 out, and if there was a play like the one where tejada had to make a decision he'd have just thrown to first for the out since there were already 2 outs. capuano was let down, that was a tailor made DP.

Lincecum out after 114 pitches. Capuano kept the Mets in it as the score remains 2-1. They need to attack the bullpen now.

sweet catch by Pandoval at third to rob Beltran of a likely double.

Came back to bite them in the ass today. Poor play in the first. And another tough but blown double play.

Tough loss for capuano. Giants pitching looked awesome.

Per postgame report on SNY, Reyes, Wright and Davis could be back within 3 weeks. Speculation of course but positive news.

He pitched well but Mets did a good job of at least working the counts on him all night, and he had to be taken out in the 6th inning after throwing 110+ pitches. We couldn't come through with any runs afterward though.

    Anyone watching Sunday Night Baseball?

    Cain vs. Pelfrey

lineup is just not good, but who knows, maybe they'll hit Cain somehow.

    Pagan
    Turner
    Beltran
    Murphy
    Bay
    etc

I'll watch until Curb starts at 10. I'm also waiting for Harvey to pitch in the Futures Game.

I will watch it when I get home. I have to go to a store soon.

Any reason for me to use Pelfrey tonight considering my opponent has nobody left and this is the matchup with updated stats-

    The Thing In The Jar 36 8 29 11 .273 5 2 45 4.67 1.47 9
    Strange Brew 24 5 21 3 .264 3 0 42 4.74 1.36 1

Fuck it. I have no time to fuck around with code. I am winning ERA 4.67 to 4.74 and am losing WHIP 1.47 to 1.36. To do any type of calculatin' myself I need to know the IP, BB allowed, and hits allowed numbers that we have accrued through the week. Odds are Pelfrey won't pitch good enough for me to win both ERA and WHIP, so I'll sit him.

Another Mets prospect Jefry Marte was just put in as the 3rd baseman.

Out of the blue, a friend of mine texted me one day that he bets that Nix has a nice vagina.
