RA pitching well so far just giving up two hits thru 4 innings. Looks like a ton of empty seats for a nationally televised game.

So Beltran is hurt left the game with an injury, so much for trading him. That poor fuck just can't seem to play a full season.

Most likely a bone bruise/hematoma based on the nature of the injury. He fouled a ball off his shin/calf.

He has a bruise and is day to day. Ex-rays were negative. I'm sure he'll be fine.

K-rod put in on a non-save situation. Gives up a three run shot. Then strikes out the last two. Took 2 of 3 from Atlanta which is nice

Watched the game in its entirity this am and I was impressed with our professionalism...something we havent said a great deal!!

I thought the message sent by dropping Bay was excellent and the sooner that fuckwit can be got rid off the better.

Murphy / Turner / Tejada give us all hope for the future imo.

Also good to see Reese Havens is starting to hit well again all be it in AA. For me he is the key to our future plans kid has all the talent and a potentially big bat for 2b, if he can step up next year into a 2b position it allows Turner / Murphy at 3b which can allow us to trade Wright.

Yeah I saw that but originally I was only reading that he left with an injury. Good that it's nothing major because with him you always have to worry.

It's still stunning how bad the bullpen has become. I mean, it looked like the weakest part of the team coming into the season, but lately they have been historically bad. Ah well. Shitty bullpen + injuries + no upper level minor league talent = battling to get to .500. At least Reyes is amazing to watch.

Another good win and even Duda drove in a couple of rbi's

Just wondering if the Mets look to trade pelfrey when Santana comes back,, he is a solidish No 3 /4 pitcher and teams may be looking for an arm to push them over the line?

No way do we drop Gee/Dickey or Capo out of the rotation at this moment and pelfrey culd get us decent value from a desperate wc team

I'd love for Pelfrey to boost his value and then flip him for some prospects. He is too inconsistent and doesn't have the mentality to play in NY.

I don't want to lump on Pelfrey. He certainly has the tools to be a number 2 or 3 starter, he's proved it before and he's definitely got the size to be a power pitcher but he's definitely got some issues swirling around in his head I don't quite understand. If he could eliminate that, I would rather not trade him.
He's only gonna be worth something if he can start performing, that's the biggest problem.

Depressing game - two big mistakes and a lot of bad luck cost them.

I don't know if this was one of the mistakes you were referring to, but Hale should have sent Pagan home in the 8th inning.

Have to disagree Guiness, he would never have made it .

Murphy's error was the game killer.

With two outs, I would have sent him. It was definitely gonna be a bang-bang play.
Murphy's been hitting the ball well, but his play in the field is subpar. Have to agree with you on that account.

Murphy is a lifetime DH for me ...his fielding at the corners is below av and at 2nd he is a car crash material.

Know what you are saying about 2 outs ref sending Pagan but I think problem was that if you watch it Pagan was almost stopping himself, he was hardly busting his balls.

    Think we win tonight.
