Petro why does the font for the headers to sub-forums look enormous and bold to the max? See below: http://forums.theganggreen.com/forumdisplay.php?f=3 http://forums.theganggreen.com/forumdisplay.php?f=32 The others you can find by clicking on main forum page
The only real complaint I have is the board really doesnt look too good with widescreen monitor layout. Maybe center the header and have it fade to green on both the left and right sides?
I have had great trouble logging in - an ad is covering the sign in box and I cant move the ad! The only way that I could sign in was by attempting to post a reply - without being signed in - and that gave me a sign in box, any idea's?
I have the 3 major browsers loaded on my end and each one opens the site fine. You're going to- http://www.theganggreen.com/ or http://forums.theganggreen.com/ and the login screen is not in the top right? It's covered by an ad? Make sure you don't have any popup issues. Delete your browsing history and try again.
I've deleted my browsing history but still no luck. My son is the IT expert and he's home in an hour so I wait til then, thanks for your help - much appreciated!
There was a small issue with the login box, which I just fixed but that issue should not have prevented anyone from logging in.
I've had to zoom out to 75% before I can see the log in / out and I still cant see all the smilies then. The print is way small and I never had this problem on the old site.
What happens now? EDIT- that is odd, since the upgrade the scroll bar is gone for left to right. Are you viewing at a low resolution or on a small screen?
The horizontal scroll bar is missing. When I zoom in on other sites the bar appears, but not on this site. Something must've happened there. Somehow that is related to your ad blocking issue. My guess is you have a low resolution set and/or a tiny screen.
1. Yup gone for me too (Chrome user). 2. I would look into removing the: TheGangGreen.com Message Board - the best New York Jets fan message board right on top of the ad when you access: http://forums.theganggreen.com/ Too much stuff in the top part of that page. 3. Edit/Quote/... buttons are a bit too big, also they would take less space if they weren't rounded. 4. Getting used to the white background but still would prefer a shade of grey... it makes it soo much more readable.
I think I'm in agreement with those that find the almost pure (refigerator) white background a bit too too stark. While I like black print on a white background, I think the contrast online on my 24" HP Monitor is a bit much on the eyes after a while. The only exception would be Royal Tee's green font at size 2, which is impossible to read under any circumstances and at any time of day or night, regardess of background, and of which I have reminded him incessantly for nearly 3 years. I'm not a complainer though, except if it pertains to the transistion from the old Giants Stadium to the New Mausoleum Stadium. The white background I can deal with. Don't ask about the other. You don't want to know.
