With all the football BS going on right now, I thought I'd watch the culmination of the season this morning, and it was still pretty damn gratifying. I only wish I had been in the stadium to see all the looks on the patsie fan's faces when they started to realize it was over. It would have been a memory to last a lifetime.

They all looked so goddamn confident during the 1st drive...

That said, I've been reading a lot of posts about the Braylon/Holmes debate, and I honestly don't know who I would keep. Braylon made a couple of good plays in that game (carrying 2 pats into the end zone) and can be a game changer, but Holmes makes plays that flat out WIN GAMES. His catch in the corner where he dropped a knee and one foot was fucking amazing. He wasn't even on the team for a full season and he may have had the biggest impact of any one Jet. Edwards seems to have gotten over his stone hand syndrome, and he is bigger, and more physical.

I know the whole debate will come down to who we can actually sign, and it will probably be Edwards, and there won't be many people that will be upset about that with the way he's played the last 2 years.

    Oh and SUCK IT Patsies!

I've re-watched that game a few times. Never gets old.

It's funny watching the panel of 'experts' unanimously saying how the Jets had no chance to win the game.

Yea ive rewatched it multiple times. When Edwards scored that TD to go up 14-3 they knew they were in trouble. The fans booed as Brady took a knee to go into halftime. Then cotcherys 50 yard pass gave all the momentum right back to the Jets after the Jets gave up the TD. And lastly when Greene scored the TD you can hear people shouting "we lost, we lost".

These fans honestly thought it was going to be 45-3 all over. I rewatched the start of the 45-3 game before the playoff game and I quickly realized everything that could go wrong went wrong for the Jets and if just one of those things didnt happen it woulda been a completely different ballgame easily. Thats why I was pretty confident the Jets would defeat the Patriots. Their team was built like a house full of cards, I knew they would fold like nothing if you took a decent lead on them.

Good times, I just watched some pieces of it. Great to see Brady just dumbfounded.

Four thrilling playoff victories in 2 seasons. Loved every single one of them, but the Patriots win felt so damn good.

How do you call for that prayer on 3rd and 17???
    ARRRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!! It still kills me.
17-0 the game is within reach.
    24-0 you're looking for a miracle.

Here are a few of my favorite things....

    - Brady huffing ammonia before the game.
    - Interception on the first drive.
    - 5 Sacks on Brady
    - Sanchez escaping pressure, points to Braylon to go deep and hits a 37 yard completion on 3rd down.
    - Belichick failing on a replay challenge.
    - Chung-bungling fake punt attempt.
    - Braylon dragging McCoury and Merriweather into the end zone following fake punt attempt.
    - Cotchery's long catch and run.
    - Holmes TD catch in the corner on the fade.
    - Brady misses Branch on a 4th down attempt.
    - Revis stripping branch for an incompletion.
    - Jets answering every comeback attempt with another TD.
    - Cromartie's long return... of an onside kick.
    - Shonn Greene's long TD run followed by a quick nap.
    - Bart Scott. "Can't Wait".

    I'm sure there's more....

All great moments. What an epic beatdown.

My favorite? Fatass Rex running down to the EZ to celebrate with Greene, with the flag flying through the air as he gets there!!

What humiliation for Brady and Belly and that cocky fuckwad Kraft.

Bonus - the next day, listening to Chung-King telling the Boston press that "he made the call" for the fake punt. Of course he did this to protect Belly. Laughable to think that a rookie could call a fake at that place on the field in a playoff game, but of course, the chowds eat that "Belly is a genius and can do no wrong" shit up.

Yeap, me to. I saw the Steeler TD the other day where Bart had the RB wrapped up and no one came to assit and they scored. Pissed me off like it was yesterday. This game is becoming another Gastineau/ Browns double OT game. I wish I had the Pats game on tape, would make me feel better. In need of Jets rehab

Hey they will get over the hump and I think we will look back on these Patriots and Steelers games that will help the team grow. The Patriots game taught the team how to beat those fucking asshole pricks in their house and on the big stage. We have not beaten them in a big game since Brady became the starter. I think the Steelers game helps the team because they will know how close they've gotten and how they need to work through the season and not just stop playing hard after they win a big game the week before. Throughout the season the team struggled coming off of big wins and buy weeks and they should be smart enough to learn that they need to fight all the way through the season. It sounds stupid, I just hope that it will be a stepping stone. Year 1 was the begining, Year 2 was the learning process. What will year 3 be?

And on another note does anyone have a copy of the game I'd love to watch it.

it's tough to win these games when you don't cheat. just imagine if the '70 vikings, '80 eagles or '90 bills had thought of that instead of the '00 pats.
