Sounds like a good time. I can't really get on Holmes too much for not going. He is an FA after all, so he doesn't have as much incentive to show. It's not a positive, but it's not a negative. Edwards going is an absolute positive though.
Holmes was at some Reebok thing with Larry Fitz and some other NFL players. That is over so he might be headed out after-all. Mark added info to his Jets West FB page and it had Holmes name on it, but it was later changed. I don't know what that means if anything.
Last year it was by explicit invite only. Tried to go with someone who was invited and was told no, and there are few people closer to Mark outside of his family than she is.

Trust me, that was last year...minus the wheelchair and tard act. My nephew goes to Mission. They're not allowed anywhere near their own field during the day. I might try to sneak down for a day this week. I'll be in south Orange County all this weekend, but I'd imagine it's going to be even crazier trying to get in at that point.
I've never read or heard a single player ever say they would enjoy wearing anything of a team they aren't part of, so clearly he is stating some sort of preference for the Jets. that isn't even debatable.

I dont blame him for skipping Jets West. One little injury and that could cost him millions of dollars.

Then he'd better sit on his ass on the couch all offseason playing Madden. He wouldn't be doing anything at Jets West that he won't be doing in his offseason training regimen. Seems to me like you have zero knowledge of the training these athletes do in the offseason.
Holmes is most likely doing the same type of workouts that players at Jets West are. There is no way he is just sitting on his couch all day. The guy is probably full into offseason wake, and bake mode. He got the word about Jets West, looked at his calender, and smoked another joint to his face. Then called up his local trainer, and went to the gym for a few hours.
You think these guys just sit around all day during the offseason? They're professional athletes, and have to constantly be working out to keep in shape.

Which I expect he was contractually obliged to attend? Who knows, maybe he'll show in Cali, but I can't see it happening.
