Holy sh*t. Please don't tell me we're going into next season with Eric Smith, Brodney Pool, Jim Leonhard and James Ihedigbo again.
And what makes you think that a safety drafted in rounds 4-7 can guarantee better play than what we have now? Plus with the addition of Wilk and Ellis, hopefully our pass rush will be improved, and pressure can be taken off the secondary.
If it ain't broke don't fix it. Well..it broke. Leonhard looked like shit BEFORE he got injured. Smith is a walking penalty flag. Pool was ZZZzzzz for most of the season and Ihedigbo is not an NFL starter. Just saying, they might want to address that position.
Comon Man!!!! Where is my love? Fun fact of the day. The NY Jets had three pick-6's in 2010. Two of them were by Lowery.
Newsflash for the tards out there: You're not going to fill all your needs in one draft class. The Jets still have impending Free Agency to fill some holes (if there's a season).
Easy rider... We still have 2 picks plus free agency and Lowery might play there as well. I'd like some more depth in the position but it's not a must.
And I was perfectly willing to ignore receiver, O-Line & linebacker depth in this draft. But not Safety man. I can't take watching this team allow 20 yard receptions down the middle of the field for another year.
Ducasse is a developmental project with a high ceiling. He wasn't expected to make the Pro Bowl in his rookie season, sorry to disappoint you.
dude....why don't you wait till the lockout is lifted, Free Agency happens, then Training Camp, then training camp cuts....and if the Jets still haven't filled their Safety need. Then you can complain to your heart's content.
