Incredible! I love our draft way more than the Patsy draft. Some of their picks made no sense. They did not address their biggest need, ie, lack of pass rush. Which so happened to be our biggest need as well. We addressed it big time! Great job Tanny, your 2 picks beat Belacheat's 5 picks!

Their draft made no sense to me either. I thought Ingram would be the guy with one of their 1st rounders, instead they take 2 backs to go with Green-Ellis, Faulk and company

Unless the pats use free agency (a big if) to address defense its the same team as last year.

Also include the fact that logan mankins will probably hold out again until the final
6 games, which means the jets might not have to face him.

The way the pats have drafted I really don't care that they have 2 picks in the first and second next year.

It's amazing, i was definitely concerned the pats would really infuse their defense with talent this year. They just don't seem to care about the defensive side. Sure they got a corner, but their OLB averaged 3 sacks each last year, that won't get it done.

the pats keep trading all these picks to get more but at some point you have to actually pick someone, lol.

Pats are gay. They had what? 10 picks and drafted 10 running backs.

    Good stuff.

Not the case. The Pats had a great draft thus far. Addressed needs and stock piled picked in the process. I think Mallett might be one of the better QB's of the draft.

They addressed ONE need with Solder. How was RB a need for a team that primarily uses its RBs as pass catchers and decoys and already had 4 on the roster?

Those guys will replace Sammy Morris and Fred Taylor, who last year combined for 220 yards rushing. Clearly they didn't have any more pressing needs than that.

I couldn't have dreamed the Pats would have picked so horribly with all the picks they had.

I thought they would have drafted 2-3 guys that would be a pass-rushing nightmare. Instead, they still haven't drafted one.

Their primary need is DRAFT PICKS.

The Pats get praised over and over for their ability to move down and acquire picks, but they haven't done anything to truly help them this year imo.

I'm waiting for one year where they package them all together for a top prospect or some pro bowl type player ... and still have 6 or 7 picks in the draft

The funniest part is when all the analysts praise them by saying how they'll have two firsts again next year.

The only reason they'll have two firsts next year is because they gave up one of their firsts this year!

I agree with the one idea tha Belicheck is a genius in the fact that he will trade Mallot in another year to a team in desperate need of a QB for a high draft pick. The two runingback picks dont make all that much sense to me though.

I was nervous about the Pats draft heading into today. Now I'm just nervous that Bill is on the verge of a breakdown of some kind.
