Let me preface by saying I at one time attended ASU so I'm partial to Sparky but they have changed their entire look. They will no longer have Sparky as the main logo on their helmet and somehow black is now one of their colors. A Sun Devil has a pitchfork not the logo for Maseratti. It seriously looks like a trident.
We can add Washington State to the "rebranding" as well. I'm actually planning on seeing them this year in Seattle against UNLV. I wonder which of these they'll wear at Qwest? My guess is maybe the grey on grey helmet since it's a home game played on the other side of the state.

once again nike takes something that was once good and turns it into a flaming piece of shit. i dont care for them at all simply because they removed something that was a part of their logo for 60 years and made them look like all the rest of the cheesy nike uniforms. oh boy black uniforms, oh boy another team with gray uniforms. the originality has definitely worn with all of these and they are just copycat stupid looking uniforms at this point. i thank the lord that i root for notre dame and know that there will never be any stupid little corny things that nike does to the uniforms. they will be gold helmets and gold pants with white or blue jerseys, and occasionally green. every year, hopefully forever.
That's fine, but the school signed off on that decision. If the school wanted the old logo to stay on the uniform, it would have stayed on the uniform.
that doesnt make it any less retarded. i really blame nike for making horrible looking uniforms. it has been proven that most of these schools would sell their soul to the devil for some extra cash in the coffers. there is zero amount of tradition anymore, its all about how can we make more money. asu jumped at it. i happened to like their uniforms, they were very different, now they look like all the rest of the nike followers. btw i just recently broke down and bought a pair of new balance sneakers, lets face it they are old people sneakers, and let me tell you they are the most comfortable shoes i have ever worn. i am quite disappointed in myself for waiting so long and buying into the hype of nike for the past 25 years. all hype, no substance.
I used to think New Balance sneakers were for dorks, but then maybe 10 years ago I realized that they are not. I think I had a pair one time. Probably the past five years I have only worn Reebok sneakers only because I got a good deal at the Reebok outlet store near me. I may not have worn Nike sneakers since the '90s.
