It was the straw that broke the camels back for me. Obviously fumbles happen in real life. It is just that when you play someone of similar skill level almost always the game comes down to bullshit/glitches deciding the outcome. One of the main gripes I have is there will be a fumble and 2 of your guys clearly fall on it, then they do the fight for the fumble animation anyways and the other team comes up with the ball. Then if you go into the stats YOUR guy has a recovered fumble in his stats.
Re: bullshit fumbles. If these happen that frequently, have unlimited Rewinds turned on if it bothers you that much. In other news, apparently concussions will be serious business in Madden 12. That just means that if a player gets concussed, it's an automatic Out for Game instead of a possible return or playing through it.
Madden 2012 Thta's fine, you guys wanna ignore what 1st hand facts the posters are giving...kool. "EA Sports.....It's a Shame"
Ignore what facts? The facts that it has bugs and glitches in it like every other video game ever made. Some of the stuff gets old since most of it's getting retooled anyway like franchise mode is in a 2 year cycle of getting improved. Not sure why someone who probably hasn't even played Madden since 2k5 came out sure is taking a strong stance in this subject. In Madden 12 news http://kotaku.com/#!5787414/madden-nfl-12-said-to-include-concussions-to-present-a-safety-message "Remarkably, Madden NFL 12 will depict players suffering concussions, according to the president of the NFL Players' Association, but apparently in a manner that reinforces the seriousness of the injury and the message that playing through one is not a good idea. In a tweet first reported on by Gamasutra, George Atallah, a senior official with the NFLPA, praised EA Sports for the injury's inclusion. "Good for EA Sports. Concussed players in NFL Madden prevented from returning to play," Atallah wrote. "Culture change is important." Evidently that means players will be shown being taken from the field, unable to return. Past versions of Madden have included a coaching decision to re-insert players who have suffered certain injuries that the game considers playable. Concussions won't be one, reinforcing the message, especially to younger players, that it is a serious injury and not a time to be a hero playing through it."
There is a difference between having minor bugs and glitches and having games being decided by a football passing through a cornerbacks hand
The fact that you would even mention rewinds speaks volumes about your character. That rewind shit should've never been put in this game at all, ever!
Really, my character? But seriously, I'm not a fan of rewinds. However, I was pointing out that using them makes sense for someone like the guy who was hating an entire game because he lost a fumble right before making a big comeback.
You cannot read. I never said that was my reason for hating an entire game. Great assumption. As for the rewinds...I was playing somebody online...
What does your guy fumbling have to do with the ball passing through a Cb's hand? If you guys don't like madden, don't play it. Repeatedly whining about it is just gay. Sent from ... FU KOZ
You are the only person saying that it does...I was simply pointing out a major flaw of the game. I have also seen balls go through the uprights and been called good and no good Ah, the "if you don't like ____ don't play/watch it" argument. Ask yourself if you apply the same standard to other things. Not to mention I said that I threw my copy in the trash so obviously I'm not playing it any more.
You were bitching about the game because your guy fumbled, got called out on it, then brought up something completely different. Don't try and make it out like im the one not following here. You quit the game because you fumbled and lost. Apparently you liked it before that because, you know, you were playing it. Sent from ... FU KOZ
I buy Madden once every 5 years or so.. it's the same fucking thing every year. I liked it when they had the mini camps that you had to get bronze/silver/gold for the challenges. That was like 10 years ago. I've gotten MUCH more enjoyment out of Madden Arcade on Xbox Live Arcade for $10. NBA2k11 blows that shit out of the water. I finally realized what a good sports sim was like after playing that.
Hahahahaha I got called out on what? Something that I posted in the first place? When somebody questioned it I told them that was the straw that broke the camels back. This is a really lame attempt at blowing my one post out of proportion. Read everything and you may understand a little better. Feel free to ask me about all the reasons that the game is lame. I wouldn't be lying if I brought up those other reasons other than what I said in that one post
I see, you're not that smart. It's ok, it takes all kinds to make the world go round. Sent from ... FU KOZ
Absolutely this. I dealt with the flaws of Madden cus it was the only sports game I really wanted to play. I finally got around to grabbing 2k11 a couple weeks ago and I can't play Madden anymore. The game is just so flawed.
