Williams Sonoma is selling an old fashioned tin lunch box with Sandwich cutters in the shape of the Millenium Falcon and a Tie Fighter
Thats alot of wasted sandwich, do they drop of the husks at a soup kitchen or do they call in the cleaner?
An original Darth Vader costume is being auctioned off http://www.thirdage.com/news/darth-vader-costume-original-star-wars-film-sale_10-27-2010
I had a potato chip recently that looked exactly like the Millennium Falcon. A carbon copy, freaky. I should have put it on ebay but hunger got the best of me.
Star Wars to be released in September on blu ray http://m.aol.com/moviefone/default/...star-wars-blu-ray-dates-and-details-unveiled/
I know that I'm late to this, but I am absolutely fucking stunned that any movie in the last trilogy would get more votes than any movie in the first. Wow. Granted, I'm just an old man.
Yep. Pre-ordered it a few months ago from Amazon, but they didn't release the date until January. I'm not sure what the current pricing is, but Amazon always guarantees you the lowest price before delivery and I get my Blu Rays delivered around 7:30 AM the day they come out.
Just rechecked my Amazon account. The original date was September 27th, but it appears it's been bumped up to the 16th.
Episode I will be released on Feb 10, 2012 in 3d http://www.starwars.com/movies/episode-i/3dannouncedate/index.html
Watching A New Hope the other day on spike tv and I almost vomited when i saw the CGI Jabba the Hut. Why the fuck do they change shit like that?
Changes have been made for the Blu Ray releases and I think everyone will like them http://movies.yahoo.com/blogs/movie-talk/star-wars-gets-tweaks-blu-ray-release-232658967.html
Have always been a huge Star Wars fan, but never been more than a casual gamer. Until I saw this thing: Two observations: 1) If they ever made a feature film that looked like this it would be sick. 2) This game looks like a crap-ton of fun.
A friend of mine in high school made a sculpture in art class of a huge foot in forward stride position that was so realistic it was hard to believe a student had created it. It was grey, minimalistic and impressive for it because the attention to details and effort in craftsmanship were prominent. She was very proud of it, and it even won her a scholarship, minor though it was. She held onto it, but over the years she made multiple failed attempts to improve it, embedding Christmas lights into the ankle and painting the toenails with a bad mixture of oil paint being the most outstanding offenses. I think of her every time I hear of yet another new enhancement to the original Star Wars trilogy. Leave well enough alone, Uncle Georgie. You've done more than enough damage to the integrity of your opus. /realtalk
The main thing I found ridiculous about the new SW was the way Anakin went from being a bit moody but basically a nice guy to heading off to slaughter a ton of kids in the space of about 5 minutes, it was the quickest fall from grace ever.
