Although it's pretty early I'm trying to make a list of players that certainly won't be there at #30... not looking for 29 of them...

    Defense: 11
DE Bowers (even with the injury concern)
    DE Smith, A
    DE Clayborn
    DT Dareus
    DT Fairley
    34DE Jordan
    34DE Watt
    OLB Miller
OLB Quinn (even with the brain tumor concern)
    CB Amukamara
    CB Peterson

    Offense: 9
    QB Gabbert
    QB Newton
    RB Ingram
    WR Green
    WR Jones
    OT Smith, T
    OT Castonzo
    OT Solder
    OG Pouncey

    Do you guys agree?

PS. This means there's a 99.9% chance one of the following will be available at #30:

    NT Taylor
    34DE Wilkerson
    34DE Heyward
    OLB Houston
    OLB Ayers
    OLB Kerrigan
    OLB Reed
    OLB Wilson
    OLB Sheard
DB Williams, A (as a FS)

Except for maybe Williams (not such a fan of addressing FS in rd 1 this time around) I'd be happy with any of those guys at #30.

I think the best part about the draft is that no one is "certainly" there or not.

I never thought Kyle Wilson would be available at #29.

It's still early, there will be some more movement in the next 7+ weeks.

Wilson to us last year is a great example of a top 15-20 dropping to a position never intended previously.

I think even the Alualu pick helps us this year, some teams will reach for players that are needed and the Jags pick showed teams that reaching instead of BPA is a solid idea if you are high on a certain prospect. Which creates a domino effect and sends a player we may not of thought of into our hands to draft.

Edit: Didnt even see your post yet about Wilson WW until i posted this haha

I think players that this could possibly happen to are: Wilson, Kerrigan, Ayers, and Liuget.

You only posted 20 players so how could there be a 99% chance that the other players are there?????

He selected 20, then he said that ONE of a list of ten should be there.

    I think it's fair what he's saying.
I hope that it's not Williams and I hope a couple of teams reach a bit so we have more than one of those in that list to choose from.

It's definitely fair what he's saying, not a bad idea just hard to say that it is certain.

It was awesome last year when a few guys dropped and we were 3 picks away with 4-5 players that we all didn't think we had a shot at.

Deunta Williams or Aaron Williams? Have to ask since I know Deunta Williams was talked about in another thread.

I honestly think Houston will not be there for us. If he somehow makes it past the Saints I'm all for trading up in front of ATL to get him. but I think there is less than a 5% chance he makes it that far.

It's very difficult to trade up in the 1st round when you don't have a 2nd round pick. I think our 1st round pick is worth 620 points and the 26th pick is worth 700 (if I remember correctly).

Wow really? I wouldn't trade up for Houston considering the talent available.
