it was quite apparent.that the jets major weakness.was both safety positions.leonhard iwas suspect and is coming back from a major injury.for sure he will not be the same player.poole was castoff by the browns.so what does that tell you.there will be better talent in free agency.as far as the draft goes.that is a crap shoot.who I really like is deunta williams from north carolina.he is capable of playing both positions at free safety or strong safety.he is one of the hardest hitters at those positions.he also is very good at coverage.againn, the jets must upgrade those positions in order to compete with the best teams.[peyton manning, tom brady, dre brees etc]

I do like Deunta Williams in the third round. Because he had that leg injury he'll probably slide down in the draft hopefully allowing us to get him in the third as a great value pick

Other than the obvious grammar and spelling issues with this post, I will say safety is a second priority to a pass rusher. In terms of the draft however, I think we either go best available or have Tanny trade picks to get the guy he wants. If Cro leaves that changes the picture for us, but we'll see about later in the season.

    Format

But in all seriousness, depending on who was available, I wouldnt regret taking either Rahim Moore in the first or another safety in the 3rd or 4th

    Question for the draftniks:

Is there a corner in the mid-later rounds that has conversion potential?

Cortez Allen, Byron Maxwell, and Richard Sherman all could/should be converted, Maxwell because of his strength(6 career FF) and Sherman because of his size and ball skills(former WR).

I hate reading, but 4 and half lines.....if I can do it.

The content is fine, the format bad, but just to call it garbage is pure shitty on your part.
I get it, that the cool kids run TGG

Giant block of shit bla bla bla....

That said, although I wouldn't be pissed if we drafted a S that was the BPA, I think the problem isn't so much the talent of our FS but their lack of experience in the scheme we play. Both Pool and Lowery were in their first year playing FS in Rex D (Lowery was in his first year playing S altogether).

In my opinion if given the time both of those guys (especially Lowery) can get the job done making drafting a S not much of a priority.

That they were concerned with his concussions.... which he had a total of 0 this season.

Because he was hardly in the game at times. I seem to remember at one point him sitting on the bench.
Not the biggest Pool fan here and would welcome some genuine fresh talent at FS
