I'm the farthest thing in the world from a lawyer. In fact, as a cop, the only ones I deal with, I loathe. Defense attorneys are slime and prosecutors only want to pad their stats. (Sorry) I admit any form of litigation at this point is beyond me.

So I'm curious...is there any chance of both sides agreeing to a binding arbitrator?

^ Highly unlikely at this point. And after Doty rules one way or the other on the decertification then whichever side wins won't want to have an arbitrator anyway because they'll feel they have the upper hand.

The club profitability information isn't good enough. This cherry picks information.

They wanted the whole financial statements.

So the gap started at 1 billion...went to 800 million...and now its down to 400 million...ROFL.

The players want it for giving up an extra billion.

I guess they are gonna have to fight about this in court.

    I'm telling you.

That's what the entire attending fan base should have done here.

Taken their PSL $$$$, built entertainment rooms, or centers, wiped their ass with their PSL bill, and sent the PSL Bill and copies of the receipts for their new toys back to the team.

    Dear Woody,

Thanks for the invitation. Only in NY could you spend more money than Jerry Jones and wind up with half the stadium. BTW, the bill for my PSL came in the mail, but in the sunday paper I saw best buy having a boffo sale on A/V equipment. I had my contractor come over and frame out a bitchin man cave for 10K, and put 5K more into A/V equipment.

That left 5K more to spend on shit to get me through the season (BBQ,Snacks,Beer).

No DUI, no 8 dollar beer and hot dogs, no 30$ parking fees.

Don't worry CBS will buy those seats at 4bucks a pop so you won't get blacked out.

    Good Luck
    Go Jets!

That's exactly what I did...Spent a decent amount of money with Best Buy on a nice TV+set...

For me it came down to why I should continue to waste money on an useless franchise that hasn't done anything in over a decade...

We don't have PSLs down here like you guys to...But the rest of your post about the $$$ applies.

    Figures. Queers.

And Let's hope Von Miller mysteriously becomes a UDFA.

Realistically the NFL should adopt cool rules, pronto...

Rookie salary cap, all rookie deals 5 years.

Salary Cap 50% of what it is now, all existing contracts grandfathered, at 50% prorata against the cap.

Nothing better than 61" 5 feet from the couch, the fridge the same distance and the BBQ 10 feet away.

TO be honest I LOVE watching football. ON TV.
The game is not better live.

    Hockey is.
    Baseball is.
    Basketball is.

Football is a made for TV sport.

Why does everybody assume this is the end of the universe for football? We are still months from the start of TC, and the reason for decertifying is to help break the owners so that we can have a new agreement sooner.

Its not good news by any means, but its not like we are throwing away football right now. there is still time to get this stuff done. Things will go very quickly (in my opinion) once judge Doty rule in favor of one side or the other.
