Again Hue Jackson talking about Dennis Thurman having a desire to go home(west coast) . Who do you think told Hue jackson that or was he making it up- Dennis Thurman.

Thats exactly what Rex did to Dennis Thurman and Bill Callahan . He didn't give both an oppurtunity to interview for a job promotion. We can't hear the truth from those guys mouths because they are under contract from the Jets(but again tell me if Jackson wasn't in contact with Thurman why would he hint he could be joining raiders down the line) Once thurman contract expires he free to go where ever he wants. (rex can't do anything to stop him)


Jackson also admitted that he would have taken a different approach than the Jets, who also denied the Titans permission to talk to offensive line coach Bill Callahan for their vacant offensive coordinator job. Since Thurman and Callahan are both under the contract, the Jets can deny interviews as long as it’s not for a head coaching vacancy.

“It would be a tremendous opportunity for (Thurman),” Jackson said. “But… no coach likes to lose good coaches. So I understand that. I know he’s a tremendous asset there for the Jets. But that being said, I would hope that as I move forward, if somebody wants somebody off my staff, I want guys to go. I like to have guys that are mobile, who have opportunities to go do other jobs because that means that we’re doing a good job.”


Again do you know why raiders improve from the worst offense to a top ten offense in one Year. They gave hugh jackson full control over the offense. Who do you think designed the blocking scheme(more power than cable zone) and designed the running plays that suited d Mcfadden skills better. Who designed the screen plays that were down right lethal when raiders for years couldn't execute those plays to save their lives. The Numbers don't lie on offense and they speak for themselve the job Hue Jackson did last year.

Again you can believe that but as Hue jackson hinted that Dennis Thurman wants to come back to westcoast. Jets have no control over him when his contract expires. Unless Jets are moving to La, and his heart not on the east coast. well guess who out of luck.

 

Well the reason he can't say it and has to hint it. Is the Jets would nail the Raiders with tampering charges. Nobody going to go out on a limb and almost guarantee something , if they don't have some inside information.


I agree with your other statement Jets wouldn't be out of luck because they still have Ryan. What they did is made it harder the next time to get qualified assistant coaches to come to the jets.(no one going to come when you deny coaches chances for advancements)

 

True there, but you also have some unbelievable young talent, thats going to give you a chance to get a headcoaching job alot sooner. While the team your with now is getting old fast, and the headcoach is always going to get all the credit.

LBs - MLB rolando MCClain Sslb K wimbley Wlb T Goethel (another rookie who would have been starting Wlb but hurt his back late in preseason Raiders love him. That Lb corp going to be something special the more they play together

safeties - Mike Mitchell, Tyvon Branch, Stevie Brown and Jerome Boyd _ young and fast
