Heard some chatter from some Bummer fans last night. Get ready for a competitive SEC West. That's all speculation, however. And Snitch U is apparently the whistle blower, again. (MS State) I was relieved when it said "top 10" program, but still a bit nervous it could be against Nutt. There is, after all, an oversigning rule named after him afterall. EDIT - the Ole Miss board I have "locker room" privileges in is "confirming" there's something about to drop in Tennessee, and Ed Orgeron has something to do with it. This source has been good about giving me the truth usually about 6 hours before sportscenter. Will be interesting to see if he's right again but that still doesn't explain the top 10 program.
Man, I hope you're right. And they still insist that we're the troublemakers in the state. So idiotic.
I still think it's Oregon, shit is about to go down with Lache Seastrunk and Baron Cortez Flenory Jr...
Yeah, that's what people are saying, but a guy can dream, can't he? Side note, you have to know a guy who's first name is "Baron" will be trouble 99% of the time.
I was reading ... very interesting stuff. Sad that only the programs on the left coast get caught cheating when everybody knows if you ain't cheatin in the SEC your Vanderbilt.
I dunno if this is the story they were talking about, but Oregon is involved: Sources: Man who helps Ducks probed http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=6179423
That last bit is pretty interesting: I'd be really impressed with the NCAA if they actually took a hard stance on multiple programs. The president of the NCAA also mentioned working on fixing the issues with basketball recruiting. AAU ball is so dirty behind the scenes, I don't see how the NCAA fixes that.
If gambling is something they're looking at maybe they'll finally do something about the rigged slot machines Auburn recruits get to sit in front of.
Well Ohio State is in trouble but not for recruiting. Apparently Tressel knew that players were selling their shit before the news broke but did nothing about it.
They said this morning that he knew back in April of 2010 before the season even started, but the new didn't break until December right before the bowl game. LOL!!!!!!!! What a JOKE! http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/news;_ylt=AuuKmFmPh9AA_Bs0UfJuZC45nYcB?slug=ys-osuprobe030711
I hope that bowl victory was worth it for the Ohio State University. the NCAA showed them preferential treatment already by letting the players play; I'm sure they aren't going to do it again after they are proven to have completely deceived the NCAA.
OSU no longer has any staff members listed for the 2011 coaching staff. http://www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com/SportSelect.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=17300&SPID=10408&SPSID=87747 /conspiracy. EDIT: Strange. When I first posted the link, it went to the 2011 coaches page, now it forwards to the 2010 page.
