I would probably trust him more than Folk to be honest, but I don't think there's much of a difference between any of these guys that have gotten released and bounced from team to team (Graham, Folk, Suisham, Reed). Unless you have an elite kicker, you just have to get lucky.
^ folk needs to get a lil muscle on those legs, because he is kicking off like a high schooler toward the end of the season.
Folk was money when the season started, then got a lil shaky but all in all he pulled it together in the end. theyll bring in competition for him definitely, but i dont think they are actively seeking to replace him as a priority. I think he might be more consistent with a year under his belt and little more confidence in himself.
I can't believe some of you guys are praising and defending Folk, get him the hell out of here. I never feel comfortable with him kicking, even if it is a pat.
He had good accuracy. However, not a strong leg. His kick offs were usually short. I like the kicker out of Nebraska, Henery. A cold weather kicker, has a big leg and can punt too. I wouldn't mind the Pats signing him as insurance if the roster gets expanded.
This is how I feel about it. I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets brought Graham in to compete, but he's not noticably better or more clutch than any of the other bouncing kickers. However, like the Pats fan said, Graham has kind of a weak leg. I'll take Folk questionable consistency and a bunch of touchbacks over Graham's questionable consistency and every kick getting returned.
