Can we all agree that this story was garbage, completely a waste of everyone's time, and did nothing more than scar some immature girl for life? A couple of things. First, does anyone believe that some dude - out of the blue - emails this chick weeks ago, says he's from Deadspin, and then it turns out, according to AJ the Douche, that this emailer wasn't from Deadspin? No fucking way. Deadspin baited this girl into coming to them out of panic after she got that first email. Second, at least the Rex feet story had some substance. There's nothing to this, and BTW, I don't agree for a second that she told him how old she was before he tapped that azz. Think about it - she was almost certainly harboring delusions that she could bang Sanchez, they would fall in love, etc. This is the way a girl her age would think; she isn't looking for a one night stand with a Jets QB. Does anyone here really think that she would straight up tell him she was 17 and blow her chance at a fairy tale life when the odds are that lots of guys would walk the other way? No fucking way. Funny how the douche who runs deadspin is like Woodward and Bernstein when it comes to things that will help drive his web traffic but completely willing to accept implausibilities when it comes to something that will undermine his story.

Funny ... I've been saying that Sanchez reminds me of Jeter the way he steps up his play in the postseason ... but GOOD GOD!! ... Come'on Mark --- you need to step it up bigtime OFF the field. Did you read the story? Her dad's got more money than God. I don't think she needs to worry about having a chance at a fairytale life, this isn't some gold-digging skank from the projects we're talking about.
i don't think ive ever directly stated this but i love that you guys call him nacho. i giggle to myself every time i think about it. i also now imagine rex calling him nacho when he speaks to him. great job whoever came up with it!
